Im the complete opposite, im 43 and my son is only 5 so now i can afford the insurance and running costs im stuck having to have something with 4 seats.
At least when you my age yours will be grown up and you can get that car of your dreams :) unless your a granddad by then and you will need some thing to cart the grand kids around :)
 
Get the wife something with 6 seats, a nice old cheap zafira

Then you can have the fun !!! Thats how its going to be with me .... Going to put the foot down you see ;)

Ok that is a problem and there isnt a lot you can do about that. Well apart from getting her a licence. Tell her she needs the independence and you will be proud of her :p

/OT - can you shot hand held at 1/5th with the IS on the 24-105 or was that tripod?

Saw this beast last night... absolutely love it! Had a quick sit in it and even being 5'4 found it a little bit difficult to get in and out of.

Hope that expansion tank gets you home Sam, we'll have to go out for a play sometime. I want to see how that thing moves!
