They did a runner as soon as they'd grabbed the cradle and charger.

The car is back with a new window in place now, but when I went out to look at it, I noticed a big dent in the B pillar :eek:

The cheeky **** had use a bar or something to make a dent in the B pillar, which either made the glass smash, or he got bored of trying and just smashed the glass with the bar.

I cant believe it when people do that! I worry when i think i have left something i my seat, but then i think why would they bother with a corsa, or even for a couple of quid, but it just goes to show that they will take anything!

The little ***** need their hands cutting off! Its a pity you can leave anything in your car.

You should definately leave your glovebox open and empty as well.

My sisters' fiesta had the passenger window smashed. They looked in the glovebox and took nothing - fill with junk mind you. I still think that this was the result of leaving the cradle on the window. They also tried to leaver the frame leaving a bulge on the door - like the one posted above. Consequently, when you try and wind the window up makes a horrid rubbing/sqeaking noise.

I am sorry that this happened to you and your step-father. Need to electrify the car, should give them a nasty shock.

Agreed, waste of time leaving the glovebox open, as if they walk by and see it open they'll think '****, left his glovebox open just to show theres nowt in there, have this brick yer ****'. and lob one through because you left it open, they will be well peeved off at that as said. :mad:
