Antec is back at OcUK!

Unfortunately my Antec C8 ARGB was delivered with faulty fans. They have a persistent grinding/rattling noise. That's twice now after the Performance 1 FT. I'm either very unlucky or QC on those Tranquil fans requires looking into. If it is down to shipping then perhaps they should come boxed for us to install after delivery.

Hi @zaniro Sorry to hear you have this experience. That's not what we expect.

DM me your name, tel and address and I will organise a full set of replacement fans out to you. Please let me know if you have the black or white verison.

I have had this in my cart for 2 days and keep going back to look at it. I love it for the price. But im so torn - after spending weeks trawling every corner of the internet for the best deals on everything from GPU to boot drive, seems a waste to spend 60 quid at the last second on a new case just because these new fish tank ones are pretty. I pay so little attention to hardware between upgrades I didn't even know this had become a thing, but I really like them

I really like the Corsair version but hadn't considered it due to the price, but this is awfully tempting for less then half the price. Pity it didn't have a few quid off for black friday, a tenner for shipping to NI isnt amazing when im trying to talk myself into a vanity purchase lol

I've just built a 9800x3d system in a Antec C8 ARGB. The CPU is air cooled so I added two more fans on the front intake. Really impressed with this case.

Would've bought a new case I guess, I spend money on updating my old but good Coolermaster stacker, but the inclusion of larger fans, radiator support and better cable management would have been good. The Flux Pro looks nice although I would prefer solid side panel.

Even the Performance 1 is more upto date than mine

I don't like Antec removing case screws to ensure proper security, instead relying on clips etc.

Just got the C8 curve case, wondered if anyone knew of the best fan config? So far I've get 2 140mm inlets on the top and 3x120mm on the side as an exhaust, and although the fans aren't pinned at a set speed (they're arctic PWM PST) and the idle temps are fine there's
some terrible turbulent noise coming from it. I'm guessing that because some of the 140mm fans blades are covered it's likely those?

what hardwear and what cooler set up? the fan set up is like an O11 so no matter what you do you should be golden really

Got a 9700x, noctua dh-14, 3070 FE. I had the same cooler on my old am4 chip in a cheap zalman case and it was noticeably quieter. I’ve added more fans and the noise has gone up! I’m pretty sure it’s coming from the top fans. All the fans are brand new today.
