Antec is back at OcUK!

Well, my case didn't arrive. DPD van stopped outside my property. The driver got out, looked in the back of his van, got back in a cleared off. Then moments later got a text saying I wasn't in when they tried to deliver. No card through the door, like I said, he didn't even try. Trying to contact DPD is like having teeth pulled. Was a nightmare. They will try and deliver tomorrow but I have a hospital appointment. Have taken this up with the supplier.

Very hard to deal with couriers nowadays.
Used to have an excellent experience here with all, except Yodel.
Few months later the regular couriers replaced by very awkward people, every day a different one. Only option is local collect, but that has been a problem few times too.

A race to the bottom recruiting and training staff, and a big failure keeping and looking after the good ones. Things will only get worse.

SomthingDaft, I hope that you get it sorted quickly and easily.

I'm finidng similar with the delivery guys around here.

I think I'm settling on the C8 for my next build. I was tempted by the dazzle of the Flux Pro, but I don't think it brings enough extra for the cost, and ultimately I personally prefer the look of the front glass on the C8.

Both are excellent choices :-) The C8 is the go-to case for if you want front glass panel for styling, with good cooling
The FLUX Pro is the case to go for if you want the best of the best cooling performance.

Got to sort out the RGB fans as my board has the wrong connector type which I have ordered an adapter for tomorrow but it turned up OK today.

Antec C8 ARGB Midi Tower - Black

Ordered myself one of those as my hardware won't properly fit in my H500i case. GPU too large and the AIO is being touched (not in a bad way) by it so can't fit the securing bracket.
These look really nice but I don't wanna replace my Evolv X. Yours does need some RGB though.

Temps are comparable to my old case with the front glass off! Around 41c on the CPU. Nice and cool the C8 is. I bought the wrong lead so I wont be running the fans ARGB until tomorrow, I bought a SATA plug connected ARGB controller type device. Annoying that the X370 has a four pin connector for RGB and not the three pin one. I usually set it to one static colour and leave it at that for a while. Red seems to be my favourite right now.

Well as with most fish tank style cases, the pressure should naturally have a positive pressure, so it should not really bring in too much dust.

Personally I prefer positive pressure inside any PC case, negative pressure is just an invite for dust to get into all the cracks, nooks and crannies for any case.
Surely positive pressure only brings more dust in? It has to drag the air in from the outside. I guess it would accumulate on the outside of the filters.

It probably would if not for dust filters, but the idea being that all incoming air is done through dust filters and all the cracks and opening that don't have filters will have the air flowing out due to the positive pressure. If you had negative pressure then air would be getting sucked in through all those places along with dust and no filters to catch it.

Or at least that the theory I believe.

Yes, pretty much.

With positive pressure the only air coming in would be forced in-take, ie, fans.

If you have negative pressure, then the air outside the case would being naturallly pulled in to pressurise the case, via none forced means, ie cracks/gaps outside of fans etc.
