ANTI VIRUS & INTERNET SECURITY RANGE EXPANSION

Norton 2012 certainly not bloatware, have you used it?. There are 2 services running totalling 15MB with zero cpu usage while developing software.

When I uninstalled Kaperski I immeadiately noticed a difference in performance. Since installing Norton it feels like there is no AntiVirus installed which is pretty amazing.

Big thumbs up for Norton 2012.

Maybe not the best choice of word for the current product. Yes it has improved & runs much better but I stand by the the opion that is is a PITA to unistall, it trades on its "gold standard" reputation when it is not the leader of the pack. Other products have better heuristics & zero day protection, Norton is still heavilly reliant on signatures.

Well in comparison to Kaperski 2012 its less demanding and found 4 viruses that Kaperski failed to find. What more would you want?

Few of us still waiting on clarification of the panda details. As mentioned allready Global protection 2012 is a different product.
