Any problems with this build (apart from cost)?

The HAF932 case failed custom pc case round-up.

Issue 63, december 08.

Test equipment was.

Asus P5Q deluxe
Zotac GTX280
QX9770
Corsair HX650

The GPU and PSU both overheated after 56mins.

How do you think it will do with all the suggested spec in it?

3 fans dude, not 1 default one

and bear in mind that ifx is 35 pounds while noctua is overpriced at 70
can get 3 good scythe fans for ifx to palce at sides and middle, and it will outperform noctua

i've got it myself and it has got great overflow, loads of room for cable management, quiet and gives better temps than cosmos and antec 902 that i had a chance to test

and i ve had 2x280s and 2x4890s and i've been doing linpack tests overnight with full i7 stress at 4.0 and nothing has overheated, so your test must be bull****. is there a link for it?

you ve got hate to haf in every single thread, while it's a great tower

Top result is using one 140 mm Noctua fan. Second result is using the two default Noctua fans. Third result is using three fans (two Noctua default + Thermalright TR-FDB). Fourth result is using two Thermalright TR-FDB fans. Noctua wins by all accounts.

Yes, the Thermalright is cheaper but it doesn't come with any fans. The NH-D14 comes with two fans ready for action! :)

Edit: Here is another benchmark that shows the NH-D14's performance against the IFX-14. But I will say that you're right in one regard, you'll get similar performance from the IFX-14 buying the cooler and fans seperately for about £10 less overall, but it definitely won't outperform the Noctua.

Either buy a back issue.

Maybe try their sister site www.bit-tech.net

Edit. Found it on their site, but the test equipment used was less powerful, and its tested in a different way.

All tests done in controlled environment with thermal probes, Systool, Coretemp and finally a FLIR SC640 infrared camera.

So far from flawed, plenty of cheaper cases past the test.

The HAF932 scored 67/100, pretty poor to be honest.

I could maybe take some macro photos and email to you.
