Anybody else who writes normal 'texts' like me?

I will admit my spelling and grammer are not 100% (as i am sure many of you on here would like to point out and pick at bits of this post) however i try to write my text messages in full english. Maybe i am just using to havin gunlimited texts but i would never shorten a text ust so it would fit on a single page. Surely those on contract have unlimited texts so there are no excuses?

Ufortunately i have a feeling "text/msn talk" will become more and more common amongst young children who get phones and on the internet at a younger age and it may be some they find hard to break as they grow up

Makes me feel really stupid when i try to read it as some times i have not got a clue what they are saying

Yes I do, for MSN as well.

The only acceptable shortenings are if I'm right near the limit of 160 characters, and I need to save space, so "you" -> "u" and "your/you're"->"ur".

I write in full english but without some punctuation, so for example instead of writing 'you're', i'll write 'youre'. I do that simply because getting to the ' symbol on my phone is a pain in the bum. I hate text speak with a passion and would rather use an extra credit sending a two page text for the sake of good english than send a one page text with 'txt spk'

I do, with full grammar and spelling.

Can't stand text type.

This.

Although I have used text speak in the past, especially before I had fancy multi page texting phones. It's sort of acceptable when used where message size is limited (which I thought was the point of it).

On the other hand when people use text speak on forums, I just want to purge them from internet (and possibly the planet).
