Now don't get me wrong I love this warm and dryness we've been having for the last few weeks but I would really love a nice thundery downpour about now.

Anyone actually had any rain in the last (almost) month? We apparently had a few spits a week ago, one moring but I didn't see it. I don't actually remember this long a dry spell before, seems like it's gone on for ages and looking at the weather forecast it looks like it may carry on for another week.

Anyone else want some heavy rain?:p

I'd been wanting a good thunderstorm for weeks and weeks, a fortnight ago, we decided to go to the lake district camping, that night back home there was a good thunderstorm and i missed it (

Been raining here the last few days, still quite hot though. As long as its dry at the weekend and next week ill be happy as im off on holiday for a week.

No, the heat wave can stay, we've got to around 38°C but its cooled down to 32°C today. A few degrees lower and it can stay like this all summer. :D

Been raining here on and off for a good few days now. Just building up nicely to chuck it down at T in the Park :(

I'm assuming you're not in London at the moment! It's been around 22-24 here.

I'm in Hertfordshire, just north of London. We've had a couple of cloudy days (including some of today) but no rain to speak of for about the last month.

Sucks to be you lot where it's been raining!:p

I don't particularly wish it to rain but if it were to drop say 10C then I'd be a whole lot happier, I wasn't built for this sort of heat and by that I mean anything above 20C.

Unlucky northerners! :p

This is one of the reasons I love living in the south east in summer. Much less rain and higher temperatures than the rest of the country! :D

Was raining the last couple of days up here was actually really bad yesterday. Heavy rain and very strong winds, it was not good for driving from Inverurie.

I need a good downpour to fill my water butts, there nearly empty!

Same here for my mum's sake. She bought a load of plants last week & has planted them, however there's not a lot of rainwater collected in my folks waterbutts (they have three!) she wont be happy if the plants die due to the rainwater running out & a hosepipe ban looming on the horizon.:(
