Anyone else get stressed when gaming online?

I just pure and simple hate campers.

You buy games to have fun, and I don't see how sitting in a hole, waiting for someone, and shooting them in the back is in anyway fun. Why pay £40 for a game to just sit in a hole.

Also people who don't play the game.

E.g. when it's your sides turn to be the attacking team (planting the bomb) and they just sit in spawn =/. You're meant to go and plant not camp =/. Just let the time run down and they then lose.

So annoying.

Oh and poor reg on CS:S

When you can actually see the blood splats that you have put on the opponents head, but apparently you didn't hit them?

Makes me FUUUUU so much.

People who cannon rush should have a sign outside thier house so we can go on a rampage... :p

I used to get stressed over games of SC2 but after watching slayers dragons stream I take a leaf out of his book and even smile during defeat...
 
The only game that gets me incredibly stressed is Starcraft 1v1 (high diamond/masters). Team games i'm fine with - but 1v1 i've stopped playing because it really does affect me so much. Even though I managed to reach masters I don't think i'm a real RTS player.

Any other game i'm cool as a cucumber with, FPS games are the best for me probably because i've played them my whole life (Doom ever since I was 4, hardcore :cool:).
 
If I'm playing MW2 or Black Ops on the PS3, i enjoy it but can only take so long as I can get quite worked up. Sometimes I'm more relaxed but then I don't win any games. When they had the Nuke town 24/7 week(end?) that was hard going playing a few games of that map back to back. A few years ago, a few of us from work used to play FEAR combat online. They were long matches of about 40 min and 50-odd people playing. It was a case of dying every 20 seconds, trying to take out at least 1 person before you died and that was enough to win the game. It was a non-stop masacre.
 
My brother is absolute murder on COD!!!

Screaming and shouting, calling people all the names under the sun.

Some of the phrases as well. WTF is GOML, sponge and rage quit all about.

God knows what our neighbours must think.
 
Rage comes from:

Corner cutting. Then they claim they are the best.
Ramming/shunting trying to shunt your car into a spin.
Use you as brakes and they yell at you for going too slow when you're braking for a corner.
Driving at fast speeds then they slam the brakes on causing you to crash into them.
Swerving all over the track.
 
Not really, these days I know it leads to nothing at all, but I do get a little frustrated at other incompetent players.

I tend to get more stressed playing a game that I feel isn't skillful. I really don't mind being killed when I play Quake but being killed in Call of Duty under most circumstances irritates me.
 
Not any more. Hmm maybe sometimes on TF2. But I often just laugh it off, go Full Retard and lead the cretins to their death.

I prefer coop games nowadays anyway (L4D2, Guild Wars, that sort of things). Maybe a reason why! And I prefer playing support roles anyway. Victory is EVERYTHING!

Smashed my xbox pad off the wall when playing fifa 11 and some wee fag screen glitched me! lol.... i no longer play fifa 11 at all.

Also smashed up keyboard when playing football manager one time lol

Thats hilarious but not unlike myself. Often playing Crysis I would roar loudly at the monitor ****** and blinding, sometimes hammer on the keyboard, usually when there would be no one else in the house. The neighbours are thinking "He's there on his own, but there's a major row happening??"

The thing that pxxxes me off most in Crysis is when you see someone coming to blow up your vehicle with C4 and immediately jump out to run but for some reason youre too late...... Lag.
I recently got killed by the same guy about 8 times in a row because after the second time I saw red mist and ran full speed to blow HIM up with C4, for him in his new found vehicle it was like shooting frogs in a bucket with a shotgun. :o

Edit: But I love it :)
