Anyone else here throw controllers?

I have thrown them in frustration but kind of in a wussy way like on to a couch or bed. No smashy smashy into walls or the floor for me. Although I did rip the 1st gen really thin strap right off of a Wiimote thanks to Mario Kart and it's single player crap.
 
Never thrown them, but used to occasionally smash them against things like the nearest wall or desk whilst still holding them when failing at particularly frustrating bits.

Last time was when FIFA 2006 came out for the 360 I think which broke the bottom of the pad, and LB, and not done it since then. Maybe I'm mellowing :p
 
I dont anymore but i have smashed plenty of Megadrive game cartridges against the wall and twisted a PS2 controller apart but i just turn it off or punch my bed or punchbag, far less painfull
 
I threw a wired 360 controller once while playing a mate at PES6. Wont be doing it again as the wire was caught on something, my foot I believe, so when I threw it it just looped around and landed on my forehead!!

PES is very frustrating though! I know I'm better than this guy but some games you just can't score and then they'll get a daft goal through no fault of your own... very frustrating!
 
My old megadrive controllers used to take beatings regularley many years ago. Thrown against the wall , smashed into the ground, stamped on :p

It was all altered beast and road rash's fault!! :D

I'm a lot more calm these days, the only game thats getting on my nerves is GTA4 when i fail a mission and have to start again and also loose that badass car that i just found :mad:

No i dont throw them, i do shout at the TV sometimes though - and i tend to bite the controller especially during Ninja Gaiden gaming, few bite marks are imprinted in my trusty controller!

Just bought a replacement today - no black controllers though so now my elite looks funny :(
 
Mario cart tournament on snes, i threw one recently and it arked around our front room like a boomerang, neally hitting my mate in the face.

I have also nearlly thrown my monitor out the window when i quick saved as i fell off a ledge instead of quickloaded playing halflife in zen world. I had no other save games
 
I normally dont throw controllers but turn the air blue instead :p when i am stuck on a game , i have broken a few in my time and you have to try and take a break then go back to it after you calm down , i always think of this when i get stressed with a game :D .

I've beaten up a steering wheel once, but it did deserve it since it was faulty. Never thrown a controller, when I'm really angry I still manage to look for something cheaper to throw :D
 
Yeh do it all the time especially on PGR4 at the moment as im 1 hundreth of second outside the required time ARGH!!!
 
I still get angry but I usually just punch the sofa or something, I used to throw controllers all the time. I remember once ripping the Street Fighter 2 cartridge from my Mega drive and lauching it across the room at full force after losing to M.Bison.
 
I tend to swear more than anything else. Once had my SNES confiscated by Dad when I called Donkey Kong a fat youknowwhat on 150cc Mario Kart (Rainbow Road).
 
I shout and swear like mad when playing certain games (GTA4 is one :o) and i just seem to get the red mist.Ive broken headphones,controllers and anything that isn't nailed down :eek: I even broke my gta4 case against the wall lol and had to buy a replacement case off the bay :(
I think i need to go to anger management classes :D
