Anyone else save Pennies?

I keep all of my change and put it in a jar... last count of the £2, £1, 50p, and some 20p's I had about £50! Really does add up, good way of saving a little bit of cash.. I'll be bagging it up and taking it to the bank soon as the jar is full .

I obviously don't get through as much cash as most of you. I save 1, 2 and 5p coins and have about 5 years worth but it's only about £60

I saved up all mine in a glass jar came to about 19k! Decided I would give it to someone in need as it was money I would never miss due to being saving over a year.

how much do you earn to be able to just give away 19k

My jew jar gets everything under £1
Not sure how much is in there but I bet it's quite a bit. It's one of those demi-john things and its 2/3 full

I normally chuck anything under 20p in the pot and take it down the bank when it's up to the top. Get about £25 in mine.

Those machines in the supermarket take 5-10% of your money. Take it to the bank and stop feeding the likes of Tesco.

Pretty sure the one in Sainsburys at least gives like 7% to charity

my mum steals my change for her work and puts in 50p or a pound or how ever much it is. Then i see that I have a large amount of pennies in one coin take it out and spend it.
They currently live in an old tube from mini-egg style sweets from costco.
Also got a magners tin from a pint a glass and bottle with some change at home too.
