Anyone have a green laser?

i already said the company has a 100% sucess rate with importing and exporting.
everyone is wishing i blind my self for purchasing a laser that can afflict sutch damages assuming i will cause harm to other beings, i am lost for words really at the moment. i understand the dangers of this laser and plan to use it carefully, obviously there is some chance that if i shine it in the air it MAY hit a bird but the chances are it wont do any damage. please stop ravaging my thread and let the people who are interested in the same things as me reply

As I said before, the person who damaged the eye of my friend was not intending to cause harm, but still managed to cause lifelong damage to another human being.

if i came on here saying, hey has anyone got a paintball gun would the reply be "i hope you blind yourself with it, if you shoot it it can hit a person and blind them or kill a bird"

ok, i want this laser because it is a useless gadget that will amuse me, i asked if anyone had one not did anyone approve of me purchasing one. i for one am sick of being criticised on this forum by people who love to argue.
It's an internet forum.

Ille forum inflatius internet. Ille sic criticisum.

Not really, because there are appropriate places to use paintball guns safely and for a purpose, whereas this 'laser' serves no purpose at all and is dangerous.

My friend has one of these lasers and it burns through packaging tape from 2-3meters, and will pop balloons instantly, i've forgotten its power output but its a diode pumped laser and, was expensive (£200 off evil bay) I'm 100% sure that if it caught your eye for any amount of time it would do a lot of damage..

Only till you forget to close the sample box and get a dose in the goolies :(

hahaha :D

I guess one of the advantages of just working with a pen, paper and a C++ compiler are that you don't ever have to worry about the effects of the work on your goolies :)

At his age I was earning enough to puy one of those in a week assuming they cost $125 - why can't he have a job?

because everyone assumes that because i am of a younger age than them that i am an immature uneducated kid. i am infact getting an income off of a few things that range from pc building to web services

it would if the paintball gun was illegal, ie, fully automatic and beyond legal power limits.

ones legal, ones not.
One has a legitimate use, the other doesn't.

It's illegal, you have no reason to use it and however careful you are someone might walk into the beam.

But no I still wouldn't want you to be blinded, but being caught and knocking some sense into you would be.

lasers have legitimate uses as does any tool, they are used by astronomers for point out stars, they are used by the military for signaling

But you're not going to use it for anything legitimate.

Don't tell me you have an optical bench and you're going to recreate the michelson-morley experiment.
