Anyone just given up on looking for a new GPU?

Just been reading AVForums , 2x3080 and 2x3090 FE cards advertised for sale, 100% markup - and the seller happily says they are all from the last drop. Yup, working well there then

Which means people are obviously still happy to shaft themselves... Until they stop, the prices wont go anywhere. I honestly think my 1080 will still be around until at least the 60x0 series at this point. :D :(

Wow, it's interesting how different that place is to the MM. 3060Ti £1100 - mental.

That 3060ti at £1100 didn't actually sell though and has since been reduced to £950 and isn't selling either.

That said typical prices there are £1200-1300 for a 3080FE, £800-900 for a 3070/3070ti FE and around £800 for the 3060ti FE that do come up. The 3080ti goes for £1200 from what I last saw.

The 3070ti/3080ti don't command as much of a premium as the non-ti parts as they are not LHR so not as ideal for mining.

October 2020, I paid £209 delivered, for an MSI 1660 super, they're going for double that (ish) now used!

I have noticed that more and more 30 series cards seem to be appearing for slightly lower prices than what they've been advertised for in the past. Is this the start of something? (God, I hope so:)

It was more the gall of people asking 3x the retail price that suprised me.

I've got all the parts for my youngest kids 1st build. Except a card. should have been his Xmas pressie. .. I stupidly held off getting a 2070s last October / November time when they dropped a bit in price. I held out for the 5600x and a 3060ti. I didn't expect this to happen ☹️.. does anyone know if OCUK be listing any Gigabyte 3060tis or the Asus cards they use in the prebuilds.

Same here bud wish I hadnt bothered

Hello, been on a certain auction site today sending lots of offers, two have responded. Do you have any preference over

1650 4Gb at 220
1660 6Gb at 240

They are both standard cards with no factory overclock or bells and whistles. Didn't look higher with the incoming Intel and 3050 cards.

1660 6GB looks like the better option, you'll get a 50% uplift in frame rates.

Yeh definitely the 1660

Thought I’d take a wee look at a new graphics card as I (stupidly) thought the prices would be a bit more reasonable by now. £700 for 3060ti?!? Upgrade definitely in the back burner again…
