Little update, just got an email saying there is no stock and unable to dispatch
Have emailed for a refund, so lets see how long it takes to get back! Sad times...
Managed to order a 3070 from the ** No Competitors ** earlier - i use a couple of twitters that ping when notification is in stock and had been unlucky on a couple chances but managed to today.
It's for my brother as i have a 3090 and if he decides he doesn't want it then i will either send it back or sale for what i paid

I keep getting to the payment page and getting rejected form that site - did you get that too and is it just a case of being quicker?

One thing about that spicy indian food place, is they take about 14 days to issue a refund.
Yeah - many times i got to the payment bit and it then rejected when i selected my payment method. Highly recommend creating an account and being logged in ready with all your details already done and then selecting paypal as its a lot quicker than inputting your card details!
I'm accounted And paypaled and still to slow.

yep, ms and sony will have been applying serious pressure on amd to keep up with demand, likely only when console sales start to drop will be see more 6800 series. lower cards are a different story as they are likely on a different node.
I guess theres a chance that i may get my order cancelled but i have had it go from processing to confirmed so i am hopeful!
it's not bitcoin you need to follow for mining though - it's Ethereum (the most profitable GPU based one currently) Although they do keep in lockstep largely
I was told by another retailer, that the stocks would be low till around August for the 3080, that's one of the reasons i went with a 6800xt,

If we are really going to wait until august to be able to just by a RTX3000 card then a lot of gamers are going to be skipping this gen.
Nvidia especially is selling direct to miners as can be seen by the shots of mining rigs with all 3080 cards. They are obviously making as much profit as they can at the expense of gamers who supported them all those years. I'm almost certain to skip this gen
The miner rig with 78 3080s was all from the pny brand.
If Nvidia is innocent then we should have plenty of FE regularly on their store right? Or are they just supplying their partners who make the real money.
The stock issue is more to do with low availability of gddr6x. They seem to build it up over a period of weeks then release a batch. Not sure what PNY are upto with their stock though they would seem to be selling direct to miners as getting 78 of the same card with availability how it is should be near impossible.
I wonder if there really are that many views by customers, or if the constant pings by bots are being reported.
