Anyone just given up on looking for a new GPU?

So my Telegram and Discord both alerted at 18:19 did anyone get notified earlier?

I got Telegram alert at 6:19pm too.

Discord app shows a message at 6:19 too, but I don't remember if the alert went off on my phone... in fact, not sure if my work network blocks Discord.

My alerts seem to have dried up a lot lately and I've lost motivation to keep clicking them to see sold out products and/or insanely high prices. I think it might be time...

For me I think it's a case of 1. upgrade my monitor (just waiting for reviews of the 32GP850), 2. grab a PS5, 3. relax.

Grabbing a PS5 isn't "easy", but it's about a billion times more likely than getting a new GPU :p

The PC scene is way to stressful atm, like you say it's 99% clicking links to OOS pages or products at 3x RRP. Bonkers!

That link to Telegram above is only for FE cards in Europe, so you don't get excessive numbers of alerts, and good chance of the alert being worthwhile.

I've given up. My GTX1070 is about due for replacement, but it's still doing a decent job with the older titles that I'm still playing, or yet to play. As long as it doesn't develop a fault I'm quite happy to not have the hassle of trying to find a new GPU and spending £loads to get it. In fact I'm also resigned to skipping another GPU generation.

This GPU "drought" can't be helping the PC parts industry either. Many people who are thinking of a GPU upgrade might also be wanting to upgrade their CPU/Motherboard/RAM at the same time. If I was in that situation I wouldn't bother doing the full upgrade until I could get hold of a GPU at a reasonable price.
