Anyone just given up on looking for a new GPU?

How?
Unless a seller is silly enough to leave a picture of there invoice in shot, how would they ever know?
And even if the seller made this mistake, unless they setup the ad before actually having the card in-hand, little they can do after the fact.

Because there is only one place selling FE cards in the UK.
 
Getting impatient and need a refresh on my 5 year old build. Currently with a 1060 6Gb and it's starting to show it's age a bit.

As an estimation how long do people think it will be til I can get a mid tier card at sensible money?

Rumour suggests good supply of the new intel gpu in Q1 2022, however, is it worth buying then or waiting for AMD 7000 series later that year? The reviews and pricing will be interesting as intel might keep the price down to take market share
 
if your system is old you better of just buying a new pc. good deals are about and your more than likely to get a new gpu in it.
 
Hoped I would get a card this time around but no joy, annoying, got loads of new bits ready to go, 5950x etc, just feels pointless without a new GPU.

Which implies there are still plenty willing to pay scalper prices. I'm sure there are.

Scalping won't ever "end" because people will keep buying from them. Sad, but true.

The CPU tide is turning. Overpriced 5800x's just sit forever on the rain forest now that they can be routinely purchased below msrp.

5950X's at msrp are hard to come by, but the overpriced ones are starting to stack up. (85 last I looked) it's only a matter of time.
