Hello, I thought I would ask here versus start a new thread.

Currently have a GTX 1050 2Gb DDR5 card and would like your thoughts on
  • Moving to a used 1650 4Gb, about £250
  • Moving to a used 1660 6Gb, about £350 and up
  • Waiting for the 2060 12Gb
  • Waiting for the 3050 8Gb
If there any chance the 2060/3050 will be freely available under £400?

Saw the 2060 12gb listed in the UK for £480 other day retail. It's not available anywhere yet but I don't see it below £400 for a long time

Good questions if you do not need now wait until January and if you are looking to future proof your self a bit 8 or 12 GB would be the better options

Agreed, I've noticed a reasonable supply of older cards on ebay, maybe because people are upgrading this time of year. Or yes, I could wait and bet on the new cards

Is this news?

NVIDIA has not told consumers how much the RTX 2060 (12 GB) should cost in any region, either. ASUS Germany has issued a press release that provides some degree of confirmation on the matter, at least. Unfortunately, the RTX 2060 (12 GB) has been pegged at close to €500. Specifically, the subsidiary will sell the DUAL-RTX2060-12G-EVO and DUAL-RTX2060-O12G-EVO from the end of December for €494 and €499, respectively (German VAT 19%)
