Actually yes, but I being totally honest I have no idea how soon.
Basically what we have to go on is:
1. The crucial m4 all that generation of SSDs are a year old
2. OCZ have brought out the Vertex 4 and Agility 4, which are technically new
3. Marvell released a new SSD controller on March 15, and said their partners would implement it 'immediately' (quote from their press release)
4. The next proper new SSDs (with a proper performance increase) should use 20nm NAND, as opposed to the current 25nm, and Micron have been working on this for ages and won an award for it on December 6th, and also Intel has said they're definitely bringing out some 20nm SSDs at some point this year.
