No competitor discussion allowed so the mods don't lock / delete the thread.

Last thread got locked, mods please inform me what I have to do or what not to do so the thread doesn't get locked.

I am hoping that these will be dispatched Monday/End of next week. Another competitor is showing the delivery as delayed so I suspect this is the case for OCUK too.

Will make sure I keep this thread posted if I move slots or hear any more info.

I'm still at the top, so they haven't shipped yet. Hopefully we hear something about that Very small quanity that they're expecting, but at this point, I'm not holding my breathe until December, which is wild considering that will make it 3 months to receive a card when I was in position 2 on the 17th.

MADNESS and honestly laughable at the amount OCUK have been getting and this lockdown 100% won't help things as they'll no doubt use it as an excuse to shift blame and the lack of cards they're receiving.
 
Alright lads, looks like the stock situation is EVEN worse than first thought. Aorus just tweet that the very limited quanity due for this week isn't per supplier... it's for ALL suppliers. So instead of each supplier getting a very limited batch of cards, they're going to be fighting one another to get a hold of some cards from a very limited quantity.

Guessing how Giga is now MIA on this forum and the rate that Aorus twitter have been ignoring questions, it's safe to say, Aorus and Gigabyte have officially FAILED at demand. All their talk about ramping up production at the start of October is royal BS.

At best, we can expect to get these cards by late December by the rate OCUK and Gigabyte have been operating. Shambles.

The tweet is somewhat old, but I had totally glossed over the reply they made regarding stock, hence why I posted it on the thread.

Stock situations look EVEN worse for Aorus. With everything going on, me being in the position I am, I'd be lucky to receive my card by December or even January. If this happens, 2 things will happen going forward- OCUK and Gigabyte will never have my money again. Ordered 17th at launch time. Still 2 months waiting with nearly a grand out of my account and nothing to show for it.

OCUK have totally ignored the last 'shipment concern' and gigabyte aren't actually giving us any real answers. For one of the flagship premium cards, we're really getting shafted. Seems the customers who believed in gigabyte and the premium card bs, have just been told to deal with the delays and expect the card whenever the feel like shipping more. Also add the additional 3080 waterforce... and you've now got a joke.

Gigabyte, instead of focusing on Hundreds and Thousands of orders (just in the UK alone) for the 3080+3090, have decided it's a good decision to release a water cooled GPU for sale which will undoubtadly slow production for other cards... before they even address the limitations of stock for the previous cards. Joke.

OCUK are 100% going to use the lockdown as an excuse. Without a doubt. The lockdown is going to cause some delays. Add ontop that on Jan 1 we have brexit, and that is going to slow everything down EVEN more. I have my build parts ready to go, without a bloody GPU to go in.

At this point, I don't even care about my watchdogs code. Something which is a totally different problem.

OCUK and Gigabyte have almost certainly lost a lot of future customers going onwards.

Very weird lads. Seems they're getting stock, but it's nowhere in sight.
 
@GIGA-Man Are you aware of the situations with the Eagle / Xtreme stock? You're saying OC recieved stock but no one has budged. Me especially. Can you let us know what is happening on you end please.

We'd all be very grateful.

You know what, I'll agree, no point arguing with someone.

The lack of communication is the reason we're all peeped off. We all want our card. I'm going to self edit my comments, because they don't actually serve a purpose to this thread.

As for the prebuilds, the only one that is dedicated to the xtreme is:

However it's preorder. So doesn't really make sense. None the less, I really don't care anymore. Prebuild, staff, whatever. I think I and the most of us, want clear communication on the forums.

Nah mate, can't bring myself to look at anyone having that card. Being #1 in the queue makes me want to cry everytime I look at one. Fingers crossed this month too.

Most people after they get their 3080, will probably never use Overclockers again. In the PC part scene, word of mouth spreads quickly and the lack of shipments / communication isn't doing the staff any favours and will probably hurt them to some degree. Remember, you're talking about 6000+ people who are tech savvy enough to buy PC parts (not that building a PC is that hard), but why would you then go on to use OCUK to buy more parts? The prices are super inflated and the communication / help you're going to receive is little to none.

OCUK have really dropped the ball. Hard.
