Aorus Master / Extreme (3080+3090) Thread
I didn't get an answer but the queue seems to have moved up by 5 last week, not sure if cancellations or deliveries though.
No update regarding any deliveries for upcoming weeks.
I would presume cancellations. i bagged an FE 3070 and cancelled. Last queue position 79. My reason for going with a master was the assumption Gigabyte would prioritise their most expensive cards. That does not appear to have happened and I was impatient to upgrade from my 980.
I now have 2 3080's and i can tell you that there seems to be very little difference between the cheapest and the most expensive.
My Trio can hit the same clocks as my Extreme even though the power limit is only 102%.
Paying for these Aorus models really is a waste of money. The only good thing is that i have a card and now so does my friend. The RGB sucks on these Aorus models too its pointless and im not going to bog my PC down with more software for the stupid screen.

@GIGA-Man This is ridiculous to not even have an ETA for your top tier card. It's especially galling when you are giving the card away to B-list youtubers on twitter, when people who have actually paid for the card are not only empty handed, but without any information what so ever on when it will arrive (or if it's even started shipping). Hell, I can't even find reliable details of what the cards specs are. I'm also concerned giving the issues with power connectors for your cards that are out in the wild.

The trio was my first choice however it has no way to fix a issue on card if you were ever to get one so you would have to rma the card I changed my mind 3 times on the card I wanted as I said the trio was my first choice then it was the tuf oc however I was 700th in queue so I went with the master simply for the cooling Aorus cards are known for having the best cooling why they are so good for overclocking

Iv got a feeling Nvidia are behind it they are cutting of supply while they stock up on all the parts they need for the there upcoming cards I don't believe it's the partners that are the problem I could be wrong but it makes more sense to me I mean think how much traffic and money Nvidia will get if they suddenly have millions of cards

Nothing , these are designed for multiple cards setups and blow all the heat out. For workstations and servers they are perfect. Not everyone is buying these cards for gaming only. They are also perfect for water cooling. Cheap Titan setup for people that don't need titan drivers, but have a feeling nvidia will allow the titan drivers soon or there will be hacked drivers to take care of that too.
Have you ever update newest bios for the Xtreme yet? It unclocks for Xtreme power limit to 450 W so there is more head room for overclocking. I don't think MSI Gaming X Trio can compare to Xtreme.
I just got my 3080 Master yesterday from online site in my country and I haven't meet any issue with RGB or the LCD screen everytime restart PC. My card came with new F2 bios alr, I'm using Aorus motherboard so before I install new GPU, I uninstall RGB fusion, then after install GPU, I install Aorus engine newest version from Gigabyte site, open the app then click to the LED then it automatically install RGB fusion include in the app. Everything is fixed and works perfectly.

Relatively, yes, they run cooler a bit
there is 3-5c in it but then the Trio is running a very low fan speed. The trio can compete i think but this is in different computers and different rooms in different houses.

On the web right now I can see 6 3090's listed in stock, not Gigabyte cards but "other companies" and a further allocation of cards due tomorrow. I could have one here tomorrow, but I have been an Aorus fan, and I really like the design of the card... but there's a limit.
I really want my card so I'm trying to hang in there, but I am right on the edge of bailing out.... with no ETA in sight?

Where are ALL the aorus cards...
You're wasting your breathe. They don't care. OCUK have literally given up. They don't care if people cancel. They've had your money for 2 months now and have done whatever they want from it. If you cancel, someone is going to take your spot. Why do you think they're the only ones STILL taking preorders?
Gigaman has said time and time again orders have been received, but won't comment on where they're going. Then he goes MIA. He's now the only person dedicated (because seems like gibbos doesn't get a rats arse) for the gigabyte cards.
My honest opinion, follow @partalert on Twitter. Plenty of competitor sites with cards available (if you're quick enough) to snag them. They'll arrive within 3 days and you don't have to deal with OCUK anymore. Everyone who's cancelled who I talk to has openly stated they aren't buying anything from OCUK anymore. Their customer service sucks and they've been nothing but questionable and incompetent during this launch. Absolute mess.
Gibbo will probably get a new Ferrari from this, and post it on the forums, so keep an eye out.
Talked to a Aorus Rep, apparently shipments have went to all major PC retailers in the UK atleast in 3 seperate deliveries. This is almost confirmed with the people receiving their (Master, Eagle, Xtreme) cards from competitors. Also remember we were suppose to see all gigabyte stock mid October, it's now nearly mid November.
I'd almost guarantee you won't see stock until January. The last 3 deliveries have vanished. You have better luck finding flight MH370.
