Aorus Master / Extreme (3080+3090) Thread

The point is pal, the only people here who can really help you with a problem are OCUK themselves. You may not like the answer as regrettably they can't magic more stock out of wishes and feelings but at least you'll have your answer. All I'm saying is, instead of making claims about dodgy deals and nefarious goings-on on a public forum you speak to them. The guys are great and will bend over backwards to help you out wherever and however they can.
We questioned about the 3 aorus xtreme that arrived, only one was sent, 2 were lost internally, as nobody can tell where they are, Gibbo said that the shipment for build is different and does not affect retail. So, 3 arrived, one position was moved. Where are the other 2?
It was questioned directly to them, they don't say. So the thing is not discussion of making the stock appear, is just 2 that were received but disappeared.

It's not, but the underlying assumption that they received 3 cards is based on a single forum post by someone who said that a rep on the phone said this to them.

There's no guarantee that this is true, whether the rep on the phone actually knew, or that the rep on the phone exactly knew what the cards were for. Could be they received 3 and only 1 was allocated for sales and the other 2 were allocated to system builds and the rep simply lumped them together but didn't elaborate.

It comes down to guesswork and people blaming OcUK for doing something wrong where they may in fact not have done anything wrong. There is simply too little and certainly no verified information out there.

So your telling me none of these forum conversations on the overclockers website are heard by anyone working for or in a position @OC to respond or highlight the problems raised?

There has been an awful lot of people the last few weeks complaining at how OC have dealt with customer communication, and every time someone critiques OC it comes across as gritted teeth and how dare we question anything kinda forced response from the company and then threads get locked and vanish, yer that kind stinks tbh.

My personal opinion so far is substandard customer service, and what reads as an over extension of truth around claims of positioning by OC to secure stock and the facts are other place's are shifting more untitts or at least communicating that fact, again communication therin lack of transparency and yes my upfront in full payment of £900 for a product I was expecting sometime around the 17th of September entitles me to some transparency 8 weeks later.

The fact is OverClockers shouldn't have even been advertising the Xtreme and taking money for it on the 17th as it didn't even exist, and had they not done so I would have bought myself an actual real card and be in receipt of it right now.

Am I kinda angry hearing 3 cards dropped and only 1 shipped? True or not dam right, I'm also angry I just got another email telling me my position in the queue hasn't moved after Gigabyte claimed again to ahve shipped products this week again, and Im near the front and others claiming the same card they have moved up at least 1 place the last two weeks.

But what do I know? Nothing because there is no transparency and the management come across as disgruntled we dare to ask, and let me be clear this is not staff or directed at staff they end of the day take a wage and do as instructed.

So anyone else again not moved in the Queue for Aorus Xtreme? Because yet again Aorus/Gigabyte claim to have shipped this week and I haven't moved a place again going into week 9.

Hey man, I'm not saying you're wrong or that I'm on OcUK's side or anything like that. There's an awful lot of angry in your post and I get it, but please don't direct it at me. All I did was point out that we lack information to draw any useful conclusions and that the whole issue around 3 cards arriving is speculation at best.

I am fully with you on your other points. There should have been more communication from OcUK's side and it's not unreasonable to request that after 4 weeks of waiting with only 1 card actually shipped.

I'm surprised you got a queue update email today. They're not due until tomorrow and I'm in the queue for the 3080 Aorus Extreme myself (#36) and have not received one.
 
I cancelled my 3080 Xtreme pre order today, i was number 54 in the queue.

I got my hands on an 3070 MSI Gaming Trio X today, this will do me as a temporary card until i can get hold of either a 6900XT or an RTX 3080ti (whenever it's released).
 
well i got my xtreme and the other retailer had them and didnt even list for sale or preorder. i think also had 3 units.

i think i only got mine due to the fact the warehouse ships if its in stock. I was only expecting to get put on the list.

Makes me wonder why they were holding them back.

Well, being said SMALL amount, we expect to go forward at least 10 slots on the queue.
otherwise his post does not make any sense.

But since he said, small amount of MOST 3080s, he can later come back and say, for aorus cards was just very small (01 units) quantity.

Just to make it clear and so I am clear on it

Very small = Less than 10 units
Small = 10-30 units
OK = approx 50 units
Large = 75-100 units
Very large = 100+
Dream = 250+

Let me paraphrase Don Corleone:
Someday, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to receive an Aorus Card.

wow.. a lot of people must have canceled or something..My last email about que was on october 23rd. i just got an update email. i went from que postition 130 to 122

So Aorus UK on Twitter said there was a shipment this week for the 3080 Xtreme and OCUK have managed to get none of that?

I went from 4 to 4.. no change.
