This is being carried, and taking an unfair win, off the back of a cheater.

One positive of him quitting would be ever-so-slightly reducing the chances of the cheater winning the round.

I think what everyone is failing to grasp, is people don't know if someone is a cheater. It's not like they have icons above their heads.
How far into the game, is it possible to know the person is cheating, without being downed and watched through his eyes, your just not going to know.

So, lets say he's half way through a game and he realises his team mate is a cheater. That time you've invested in the game makes you want to finish it - I know I would want to.
If he quits, he's just lost half a game to a cheater. Perhaps the amount of time some people have is limited, perhaps he can't play any more games for a couple of days.

If he stays, he gets to finish his game and by the sounds of it, and get a win (perhaps its his first win, who knows). Not that a win counts towards anything, anywhere. This isn't a tournament for money, it's just a public match, worth nothing.

What difference does it make whether a cheat carries you or a non cheat, you're still getting carried, so using your logic you should quit because you wouldn't want an unfair win right ?

An unfair win, in a game that doesn't even have any form of ranking ladder where wins would actually matter :rolleyes:

I've decided my ultimate late game weapon combo is R99 and Re45. If you get purple clips on both you can just spray both clips, even with my rubbish aim, and down someone. Just make sure you have loads of ammo!

No one is failing to grasp anything he said he was cheating and it was obvious.

And the point is why say hide the cheating? You should be telling them not to cheat in the first place. Cheating hurts everyone and makes the game worse for others. If the cheating is obvious enough to be able to see it happening and you know it’s happening, then I agree with others here that the decent thing would be to leave that game and join another. I wouldn’t want to be given a win off the back of someone that’s blatantly cheated, and I really don’t understand how others can be ok with that?

Chill man, goodness me but you’re confrontational. There’s not really any need for hurling insults like saying we’re stupid. Nobody thinks that saying something will fix it, but it’s still worth saying something anyway and then quitting. Sticking around in the game to benefit from a cheater is somewhat hypocritical isn’t it? Unless you’re for cheating, in which case, fill your boots.

Your original paragraph makes no sense anyway. The whole point here is that you shouldn’t tell a cheater to hide the cheating, it should be to not advocate it. And you’re saying they should hide it to be tolerated? What?!
