Trouble is just like CSGO all the non-toxic players will stop playing pugs and play with premades or quit the game altogether. What is left is just pure toxicity most of the time.

We definitely need a record function or automatic game saving to see if people are cheating. Obviously a report function would help a lot also.

The makers of this game really need to sort out the cheaters in this game
I suppose as its so quick to get into another match a lot of people just figure that once they are downed its quicker to just quit and immediately join another match and start again than hang around and wait. A comment perhaps on the impatience and ADD-like nature of many people today.
Maybe the game could give someone the Coward tag or something for 5 matches if they quit, a bit like how you get the Your Champion thing, so that everyone can see they quit a match.

They can't really do much towards punishing quitters until they've fixed their crashing issues.
It'd just be punishing those unfortunate ones who crash every few games unfairly

This comes up in every game where quitting is involved...
They could easily detect the difference between someone's game suddenly completely closing versus someone clicking on the "Quit Game" button and then the secondary confirmation dialog... Yes it would mean that you could bypass getting the quitter/coward tag or whatever by hitting Alt+F4 but then you'll have to sit through the game booting up again and you're just extending the amount of time it will take you to get back into another game - perhaps that will be worth it to some but I imagine those that insta-quit because they can't wait for the respawn would also be more likely to just take the penalty on the chin

Well yes they could know the difference between clicking quit and actually closing it, but my game boots in seconds, quicker than its taken to find games sometimes, so that's not a great penalty.
Also you could disconnect the network and just plug it back in, as there's no reconnect.
I'm just meaning that for now there are people who's game crashes 3/5 games.
It'd be unjustified to add any penalty for quitting at this stage, when crashes are a rarity then by all mean they should have something like League of Legends 'increasing timeouts' etc
Two friends, both on 10 series cards, updated drivers both now CTD randomly. Not sure if what drivers they went from -> to, but if it's working for you, IMO, don't upgrade drivers. Kinda amusing as one jokingly said to me to get a better PC as the game is crash happy for me. First game after saying that, he crashes
Yep, same for me. First few crashes were during the round and not when doing the jump, sudden stutter, then freeze, them I'm staring at the desktop. But since then it's always been on the drop, I've played 5-10 games one after another and been fine, different day I've had it crash 5 - 10 games consecutively. I've had the game minimise on me too, so has a friend, but that's only happened a couple of times.

Updated my drivers to latest NVidia last night, 6 or 7 games played without issue.

I had the opposite. I have a 2080, on the old drivers it was crash city. Updated drivers and a whole evening not a single crash.
Don't get me wrong, if it's crash happy you've got nothing to lose and it could well solve the issues, but if it ain't broke don't fix it springs to mind. Hopefully they'll start banging out some patches to solve the issues people are having.

If people can be bothered to unplug their network cable every time they get annoyed because they got downed just so they can avoid a bit of text on their name in-game when they rage quit then I guess they're just "winning"/beating the system aren't they

I'm not sure where your network cables are, but mine are fairly to hand, pretty much the same distance from my keyboard as my mouse.
I'm just putting the point across that such a sledgehammer approach can lead to people getting flamed in game for being a 'quitter' through no fault of their own.
I'd image teammates would be less inclined to drop Shield cells/syringe/ammo for a guy who's got "Filthy Quitter" icon on his name

Sorry changing subject - Is there a list somewhere cross refencing forum names to discord, or even origin names?
There’s loads of people I’ve been playing with that don’t seem to tie in to he forums and it would be good to help link “a name to forum poster” to be more social.

I tend to just join a room, ask for their Origin ID or give me, add fried and play. Only takes a minute, rather than creating a huge list.,
Edit - Sorry, completely missed your point. I have no idea who i've been playing with. Though mu origin ID is the same as my forum ID.

Yep I do exactly the same, and wasn’t proposing to create anything in here, was just wondering if anything already existed so we knew for example discord “Bob” is actually forum “Jack” as helps communication on forums to relate discussion with who we play with.

Yeah exactly the same as me, mine didn't always crash from the jump but now it does, hope its sorted soon as i like the game but it's unplayable at the minute. What's your specs, mine our i5 4690 k, R9 390 and 8gig ram
For me, disabling full-screen optimisations in the compatibility tab of the game properties and running as administrator has stopped the CTD's also having the origin window open in the background prevented the game from minimising.
