Apex Legends BR

Yeah exactly the same as me, mine didn't always crash from the jump but now it does, hope its sorted soon as i like the game but it's unplayable at the minute. What's your specs, mine our i5 4690 k, R9 390 and 8gig ram

Played about 5/6 games just now and it crashed at the end, I took it as a 'hint: you suck at the game' and stopped :p . I'm on a 4690k @stock, 16GB ram and a 580 8gb. I wouldn't be too interested in specs though, it seems to hit everything thing and anyone.

Do you have an AMD processor?

there is info and a fix here - https://www.thenerdmag.com/how-to-fix-apex-legends-crash/

Step 1- Boot your PC and wait for the initial screen. There is a special key that you have to press on the keyboard to get into the BIOS menu. This key is usually one of the 12 function keys. The key will be mentioned on the startup screen. You can also check the manual of your motherboard to determine the key.

Step 2- once you are in the BIOS menu, look for an option called “CPU core control”, this option might be named slightly differently on your motherboard but is usually something like “CPU Core control/CPU Active core control”. Enable this option once you find it.

Note: the “CPU core control” option will be listed under “Advanced BIOS settings” or “OC Tweaker” etc. It’s best to look up the model of your motherboard and watch a tutorial on how to do this.

Step 3- Once enabled, you will see that a number of cores will become available if they were previously greyed out. In the FX6xxx series case, the number of cores will be 6. Simply select the 5th core first and disable it, do the same for the 6th one.

Now simply press the ESC key and it will ask you if you want to save the settings, select yes and then exit. Your computer will reboot.

Had my first crash last night, after 3 ish hours so not too bad at all. Have a few weird issues where the game minimise and I have to alt tab back in as well as the game loading in windowed mode. Apart from that, it's all good.

Tbf, it's been over a month now, so it's only about 2½ hours a day. Not crazy time. I'm up to 80 hours and have a full time job and even play some Overwatch now and then still :) Someone else on here had clocked up 100 hours in the first 10 days I think?

I'm just under 20hrs, I get the odd couple hours here a there. I enjoy it tons would like to win more instead of just getting too three most of time haha

I can usual get on pc as the Mrs likes watching crap TV (crufts, teen mom, etc)
