Apocalypse Happened would you?

Say an Apocalypse event happened where a large population of the world died, all governments broke down taking police and medical centers with it, Obviously society will go to pot pretty quickly, I believe it will be everyone out for themselves, I personally will be out to look after my family at any cost, I would trust no one.

What would be the first item's you go for?

1. FOOD
2. WEAPONS
3. MEDICINE
4. SOME SORT OF RURAL STRONGHOLD
5. OTHER (PLEASE SPECIFY)

I personally would go straight for Weapons before anything else, I believe that if you have weapons and are willing to use them then all the other things would come to you.

To be honest I think you would have a priority in your mind but you might not neccesarily come across them in the order you would like.

I can't help but wonder watching films, what would actually happen.

I mean I know we talk about getting food, but how would we cook it? How would we get new fresh items to eat?

Say in 6 months after said event what would there be to eat?

Also there would be the issue of no gas, electricity etc.

I reckon if you can grow cannabis underground in buried storage containers you could probably create an underground biosphere with which to farm food. As long as the atmosphere and water was sufficiently circulated/filtered...

The obvious, I would break apart Zombieland in the first week and then live the rest of my life following the rules put forward in it in a mission to find ******* Bill Murray's house.

Calmly make my way to the nearest large office building where there are vast stores of water, and I mean vast, also it always seems offices are very well stocked with food/food places near by! Or to a few other places with abundant clean water and underground facilitys (prety much any large building have huge basements and any decent big ones have sprinkler systems, massive water tanks etc...

Erm weapons... Pointy stick? Failing that the nearest TA centre/regional control centre and make for the weapons store
