Apple Addict

Won't say any more, don't want to get into trouble, just made me laugh in my head when I though what I wrote in the post, and wanted to share it!

:p

I've considered working there myself, but not sure I could keep my cool with customers asking silly questions. :o

It's still retail :p. The correct answer is to run far away.

I currently work for the guys Apple ripped the GUI off (:p). Giving that idea away is probably the biggest example of fail in computing history.

I don't think their questions are stupid, I never get stupid questions often a lot of the same question but never stupid ones, however you often get really good questions and you can spend the time with them to find a solution and its satisfying to work there. Better than my other previous part time jobs at any rate.

iPod Mini 4Gb
iPod Video 30Gb
iPod Nano 2Gb (2G)
iPod Touch 16Gb

I do plan on getting a MacBook this year for college work, well I say college work but it won't just be that!

I don't think I'll ever get a Mac desktop though, I find them to be considerably overpriced, the laptops are what appeal to me from Apple.

20gb? Pah! Take your 2nd-gen, touch sensitive scrollwheel and get out of here. Unless you know the joys of removing the plastic wheel (with the careful use of some sellotape) and cleaning out the dust/sand/grit from behind it, you can't call yourself a first-gen owner! :p

Heh - I'd forgotten about the actual rolly wheel... eek - that must have been fun! Its a shame apple dont ship the modular charger/adapter thingy - that was a stunnin' piece of design in itself - although I've kept mine all these years...

I now get excited when the iPhone adverts come on... I deffo think apple/o2 are making the big push now..

Really want one - but at the moment cant justify doubling my current tariff!

However..... :D

EDIT// As above - watch pirates of silicon valley - cheesy made for tv movie - but its actually pretty good.. you can watch it all on youtube..

None about the war? :p

Run away and never look back tbh. Oh how'd I hate to work in retail.

I dont know - I think I'd quite enjoy it! They're opening up an apple store in the liverpool one development, surpsisingly in Liverpool! Even though I have a full time career - I wonder if they'll take weekend staff on!?! /plots a cunning plan...

I have no apple computers but i did buy ipods in the space of a month.

Mid Decemeber I got a Ipod Classic, and mid Janurary I got a itouch, and in between I got the charger, dock, cases and apple headphones.

Agreed...

There's good Aple stuff and there's pants Apple stuff.
Headphones / Earphones are their worst officially branded stuff. Incidently, never seen an Apple Headphones... *hmmm*

I dunno - I think it all depends.. I have a current set of earbuds - which I would say for the price are pretty good! I normally use sony ones.. for some reason I can't NOT buy them...I think its 'cos my dad was a betamax fan! Although a good pair of bose adjustable thinymajigs set you back a fair whack... More often than not, I use these:

to be all ghetto and whatnot...

I have a Sennheiser HD 201 for home Music use, for the price, it'll beat most :p but it's all about in ear monitors, got a Mylar XB IEM, best price I've paid for a top notch sound since CX300. Anyway, I digressed.

Is it Apple Mad when someone using a Dell whacks an Apple stick over the logo? I'm not the culprit but I find it "wanna be" :p

Left to right,

Macpro 8-core, Dell2407-HC, 17"Macbook Pro, Dell 2405, Dell 2407, Macpro 4core hiding behind the 24"iMac...

I need to sort my cables out now... but im going to wait until ive got everything where i want it before I start tidying up. :)
