Chuck your MacBook at them instead then, anything to remove the brain damage. :p

Would you chuck you MacBook Pro at them?!
I would however sit them down and educate them into the world of "proper" Apple Macs and then perhaps give them a spinning back hook kick if they fail to understand.

Whatever you're earning on right now, do tell... I would like a slice of that money pie!

How did you get one so cheap? :O

A writer from a games site/forum I use had one for sale before christmas. He wanted £450. I offered £380 a month later when he still hadn't sold it :D and he accepted.

It will be a steal to be fair -

2.0 dual core, 2gig of ram, 250gig hdd and the bluetooth mouse for - £487 :D. It's in good nick to, very pleased with it!

Im not earning much, really, but enough to keep me entertained in a cheap reliable new car and a roof over my head. :) Under 40k

I like my toys and prioritise my money so i can get them, thats all there is too it. :)

Question is, do you NEED all those toys?

I'd sell up and get the new Mac Pro & MacBook Air if I had all those :)

My Left hand Macpro is the new Macpro... So that aint going anywhere...

The right hand Macpro is my old 4core one which is going to be my backup system basically, im going to let me mother use it for doing her email, accounts and stuff on, but it will have all my apps on... It will also be running EyeTV so i can watch TV whilst playing on my Main Macpro.

The iMac is going to become the worlds biggest iPod in my living room... Im tempted to get it rigged into my TVs HDMI connector for some media playback.

The Macbook pro is a little underused, and when i get the Air I will then consider moving the MBPro on... I only use it for photo previewing trackside, but the MBPro is very heavy, im hoping the Air will be powerful enough to run Aperture well enough.

What a beast for your mum's use... does she even know how much of a work horse is under it? It's like driving a Ferrari down to the local Co-op to buy a loaf of bread.

I don't mind it coming my way, or even sold to me at a low student friendly price, because I will be using it, lots. :)

Dont worry, im putting all the spare horses to good use even if she cannot, running FAH 24/7 on all my systems besides the MBP.

As for the MBP, fear not if i do decide to sell it, it will be going on the MM here first.

I think apple hides some sort of drug inside its products! Once you start buying apple stuff you cant stop!! Its a conspiracy!!!

Not that its a bad thing :D

That's why the Macs are so quiet... it's emitting some ultra high or ultra ultra low frequency that makes us get hooked on their product...

There's a chemical in the packaging of their products.

Why else do you think the unboxing is such an unusual experience to everything else?

I just love bumming around the shops to :D. Got a 3 day course in SBNK and most excited about visiting the apple store :D. New KB for the iMac and a neoprene case for the mac book me up. Suckered - right royally.
