Sounds like Apple are going to be allowing the reserve at store option this year. So might help with the rush.

I think that is US only as they have that option available on most items in their US online store but nothing on the UK store has it.

It's been there before though in the UK, for a couple of the older iPads and iPhones. So maybe they might bring it back

Hong Kong and China have been able to pre order online since yesterday. Shame they didnt give the option to the other countries.

Thats where I plan to get mine from if the Apple Store is rammed. Thankfully we have plenty of them in the Birmingham area.

I knew PC world would do them

Ahhhh this is such a headache. I was going to order from John Lewis and wait until Saturday. But now I'm wondering whether it's worth taking a trip to PC World in the morning

Of course it isn't! It's only a tablet, you can wait a day. Plus JL's warranty is probably better.

My friends never have a problem in the past, walking in and picking one up. Same with some supermarkets, as if people forget other shops do sell Apple products.
