Should I go bluewater, where there is an Apple store, a John Lewis and a Currys, or am I better off heading to the local currys or Tesco's.

Well Tescos aren't even confirmed as selling them instore on day one yet. I'm going to go to Tesco on the way to work as I go past it anyway, and if not, use their Wi-Fi to get one from JL

Well size should be the deciding factor, if it doesn't matter then get the Air.

If you travel with it a lot, I would say mini, but if you will mainly use indoors, on the sofa and the like, then stick with the air.

Only if you can prove the defect was present at the time of purchase. Something similar is also defined under the UK Sales of Goods Act as "a reasonable time", commonly interpreted as 6 years. It's easier said than done and not a 2 year version of the usual Apple warranty.

A lot are of reviews saying it's not much heavier then the mini.

I liked that some reviews were arguing if the device is in supplement to laptop. Mine is supplementing a 15inch retina machine and I had an iphone. So it's the Inbetween ground that I'm pondering.

The mini isn't much bigger then iphone etc. But I do like to hold devices in one hand.

Any if the die hards held one yet?
