So the 3.5mm Headphone socket on the bottom now right...? rather irritating place to put it.

It's a better place for it. My last phone had a bottom mounted one and it made much more sense.

Me too im happy with my 4 the new camera and larger display are more than enough to make me upgrade. Im not bothered about a multi quad x8 processor or 24 gb of ram
