**Apple Media Event - September 12th **

Quite like the new iphone but it looks a little too tall, probably just perspective that we will all get used too...

Really like the look of the lightening connector, that looks a good idea.

New nano is full of win, makes mine look silly :( when it dies in just over a year I will get a new nano, brilliant mp3 player and keeps my phone battery from draining from music.

Did they mention pricing for phone only.

I don't want some robbing contract. the total cost of ownership is so much lower if you buy the phone outright.

As long as its not more than £599 for the 32gb i think i will get one.

Pre-orders start this Friday and the event should be live sometime tonight :)

Ordering is on Friday :) So I'd hope so.

As for colour choice, I'll probably wait until they're in a store to decide. I've got a white iPad, but yeah, it's a hard choice.

I want the alu sides on the 5, and then the black front and back

Cheers Marky - what I wanted to hear - is it worth trawling through this thread of is it just people swooning and repeating the same information a few times in a row because they feel the need to comment? :p

Hehe no worries :)

Nah it's full of negative comments from Samsung and Android fans :p

I'll post a summary later on - but the blogs will probably do an even better job and faster :p
