Aquiss

Nice, will be night and day if you were in a congested VM area or are sensitive to latency/jitter.
Absolutely, @im4gine3. I also went from VM to Aquiss (same as Chris) and it was a revelation. My latency cut in half, it's way more stable, and bufferbloat is a thing of the past without needing to absolutely clobber the line with SQM. Customer service is a world apart.

After hearing good things about this provider, just sent in a order for the 1gb line.. albet on Openreach. Had enough of VM support

Cool, same here, 2 weeks till install for me. (Openreach).
It’s just nice finally having a lot of isp options since full fibre was installed in my street.

Moving away from Aquiss to YouFiber, nothing wrong with the service I’ve received over the last year but I can get double the download and 9x upload for pretty much the same price.

Yeah i hope so.. My VM connection suffers from super high latecy and jitter.. which is unusual but i'm guessing my area is quite congested. Plus the cost of the line is silly compared to other ISP. It's just unfortunate that it was only recently OR came to my area.. i've been stuck with VM for so long. Would have liked CF so i can get multigig speeds, but this will suffice for now.

I miss my flat where i was one of the first to get HyperOptic that time... now in a house, i'm not getting high hopes i'll get the same/similar any time soon

VM in my area used to be congested, about 10+ years back they seemed to have done something to solve it, now it’s very good, just the prices are not competitive.
I had the option to go to CF, but decided on Aquiss, decent 1/2 price offer for the first 6 months as well.
Nice having not to worry about getting rubbish isp supplied equipment to.

I doubt I'll stay with them either, year two prices are just silly compared to the competition. Shame they don't give the discount until year three, and even then that's not written anywhere.

2500/2500 ordered today through Aquiss. So far so good, let’s see if CF can use the conduit open reach had to dig under my block paving to bring the fibre to the house, fitting next Tuesday

Aquiss up and running today, Openreach arrived at 8am and installed the ONT box.
I had issue getting PPPoE to stick on my eero at first, in the end reset it, but I think the ont box just needed a reboot.

Not a big deal as I used same network credentials so all devices reconnected.

Just a question, I gather with aquiss I get ipv6, anything I need to do my end?

For example on my iPad under WiFi network, I see I have ipv4 addresses and about 3 ipv6 addresses. What does it all mean, lol.
