Aquiss

Thanks, I have an eero max 7, where would I change the setting is it via the Aquiss website account?
Not sure where I would need to look to see if my router supports it.
I wouldn't worry about it.

A quick Google either suggests that the Eero defaults to 1500 or you can't manually change it anyway.

As @the-evaluator mentions, you're not going to be missing anything.

The spec is RFC 4638, you can search that to learn more but as others have said it's nice to have if the ISP and your router supports it but your not going to notice anything massive. Aquiss have an example of how to enable it on PFSense at the bottom of this page https://support.aquiss.net/en/knowledgebase/article/router-setup-guide-pfsense-2-8 which can be used a rough guide to enable it on other routers if they support it.

It's good to enable if you can because you don't then have to mess around with the MTU on downstream devices, VPN tunnels across multiple sites can shift bigger packets etc. Some firewalls are terrible at doing path discovery, Fortinet stuff basically doesn't work with PPPoE.
