Arc Raiders

what is the blue print change? do you get to keep them now on reupping or something rather than losing them ?

if so that will make my decision on whether to reset or not far easier.

I assume it's a drop rate change.

I've had loads of blueprints drop for me since the update.

I've seen more blueprints in the last 24hrs than I have in all my playtime I think.

In one run I had six (six!), and that was after I gave one away, just from looting in Spaceport. And two of those were snaphooks.

I thought it was a fluke, but they just kept on coming with each run.

(If the drop rate hasn't been changed, I'm off to buy a lottery ticket!)

anyone else seen this bug ? I mentioned it earlier but if someone knows a way around it please let me know. if it happens you can't loot or anything ... but unless you want to lose your stuff you still have to extract I presume. I had this 3 games in a row last night. really annoying as it used up my entire game session all for nothing.

I've never seen that. Can't help I'm afraid :(

I assume pressing the button to toggle your backpack doesn't remove it from the screen?

blimey..... i havent seen one!. i do like the snowy update however (when i can get a proper game :) )

can't say as i'm overly fussed with the snow modifier. it's basically just the firestorm effect but in white, with the noise of the wind cranked up a bit more (and obviously the health damaging effect)
in fact, if it wasn't for the high rate of BP's dropping i'd not bother with it. the whole thing just seems a bit meh.

The elevated droprates of BPs just removes the magic of finding one and the tension of extracting with it tbh.
it's a hard balancing act for sure. there is no doubt the few times I have a BP (and didn't have a safe pocket) it was incredibly exhilarating to get out with it .
does this make up for the pain of me finding one when I had a full inventory and I got taken. out whilst trying to bin the junk in my backpack and ultimately having to leave it behind?

I am not so sure.

I don't get the blue print changes- yesterday I had like 6 in an hour. If you're not going on the expedition this time I guess these will apply until the next one or are they planning to add more? I don't get why they've made it easier all of a sudden!

There was a huge amount of talk on reddit and other places, that people simply wouldn't reset due to the blueprints being the way they were, If you played the crap out of it you'd still not necessarily have more than half, I was about 1/2 before the change with nearly 200 hours. A few people had them all.

It very much felt like drop rate itself was dynamic in the first season, it started off with loads dropping, but many being dupes. And then the dupes disappeared or became less rare, then the rate just steadily tailed off for me, I hadn't had one in about 2-3 weeks prior to the new patch, so my feeling is that maybe the odds of one dropping was based somehow on your progress, level, or how many you already had or whatever. But at the existing rate I was getting, I was never going to get all the 2nd half, not in 1 season and probably not in 1 year of play.

I'd be interested to see if we see the same thing, if the rate is back high with the update but will trail off. If this happens a 2nd time It pretty much cements it in my mind that its dynamic somehow.

There is one change I don't like.

You used to be able to buy raider hatch keys for 9000 credits (normal currency) now they are 100 of the blue currency.

9000 credits was **** all, now they are quite expensive.

Make them, quite easy to do tbh. Made 2 last night.

For me the performance has taken a hit. Showing same fps but it's jittery. Noticeable in the main menu if you observe the standing character animation.

not noticed the main menu character but did notice that the game was definitely more clunky/jittery than previously when i was playing last night.

i kind of hope not, as that could mean if you are unlucky and find a load of ones you do not care about then it would make the chances of getting one you actually do want that much harder to get down the line.

Yeah I do as well. But I get through a lot of raider hatch keys, basically bring them always unless playing night etc. The one per day 9000 key you could buy was a nice top up.

what do you guys spend your seeds on? it seems a bit of a waste spending them on common stuff, so so far i have just been buying the 2 pink things each day. i dont need them but otherwise i would have a bigger pile of seeds than in Mr Fothergill's underpants!.
