Arc Raiders

I found myself logging in last night and was just finding it a chore. added to a rocketeer catching me out in the open and taken me out. I think I need a break from it .. all good tho. I only need another 2 million and I can send my guy on an expedition and plenty of time to get that. I have a feeling it will be my 1 and only expedition to get the cosmetics and the. I will just slowly play through the 2nd time over my remaining time in the game.

maybe I won't get to take on a queen with this guy but that can come for the next one.

Seen this game just fall from grace for the last 2-3 weeks over X. The cheating, the banning controversy (cheaters only getting 30 days), people being incorrectly banned. The crazy stuff attaching utilities to moveable items to create moveable shields, explosives on the end of huge sticks that clip through walls, boxes of fireworks you can place down to obscure and completely cut off ARC vision/sensors. Just loads of totally daft stuff, PvP becoming a trigger grenade hell hole because it's just not getting balanced. Absolutely no new decent cosmetics or anything close to decent. Logged in again today to check to see if anything has actually improved, went to my inventory to craft some bandages and the crafting multiplier ticked back to one after increasing it several times. I just quit out.

I can't with this right now. When they attempt to patch all the new bugs they've introduced I'll try again, but if they've failed or introduced a completely new set again, which they didn't catch because they don't test. I'll be out for this season. It's become incredibly hard to take this game seriously.

After logging in, despite not doing any trials for the week, I ended with the same rank I started with lol, daily feats are literally pointless because I have like 3.5k tokens left and the cap is 800, so until they've release >2.7k's worth of cosmetics they're literally pointless lol. Eugh.

Are you in friendly lobbies?

If you are, join a map with the queen on it and head towards her. If you're lucky you'll find a group already gathering firing at it.

Join them and start pouring your ammo into her. :)

If you don't have a heavy weapons then wait, save your ammo for weak spots that get exposed by others.

If you have fire or explosives then toss them all, you can help with dmg even if she is armoured.

You can do this with a free loadout. No need to overthink it.

If you don't find a lobby where people are fighting her, either wait a bit until you hear her making noise once an attack starts, or extract and try again until you mark it off your list!

You need Medical / Business Centre / Assembly - if you don't spawn near them - they will be wiped out within the first 3/4 minutes

Ok ive done over 8 hours of stella montis now and still not one of either a Flow controller or Magnetron found , its the only quest i have so literally quest progression is stopped until i find them.
Im looking in correct areas ,doing night raids etc but nothing lol.
This game has gone from really enjoying to just having enough of it now because of this one quest.

It is hard, you have to be quick as well.

Assembly and medical research. You will find one eventually.

It took me maybe 4-5 drops to find a magnetron which was the rarer of the two, at least in my experience.

You can get lucky and spawn right in those areas.

do you have to get the final shot for the kill a queen achievement to count or just be a part of it? thanks.

Tried again this afternoon for 90 minutes, thats almost 10 hours.
I leave if i matchmade to a late raid as there is no point, ive spawned in correct areas many times, looted the correct areas many times with 2 minutes of spawning in and nothing.
Im out i cant be arsed with that nonsense, what a way to come to a grinding halt on an otherwise super fun game.
 
I have now done most things, quests are pointless to me now, the trials are good fun but you soon get overtaken by the trios achieving mega points, expedition 2 all sorted with 5mil. my main activity now is sustaining a disposable amount of good gear/weapons to go PVP in trio mode, still loving it though but they need to start dropping good content just like the last major update!

If the PVE is still interesting to you but are finding it too easy then I suggest putting yourself into the sweaty servers where looting becomes a lot more challenging and interesting imo.

If you spec your skills to the field crafting one does that also mean you can upgrade free loadout guns once you've found the parts?

The flow controller is in the medical research area (red area)

I spent 2 hours farming for it on the assembly area as its an Exodus item but after looking in to it further I tried the medical research area and found it on the second item I looted!
