For people to get into this, is it needed to have at least one/two people you know who already play it? Feel like I'd be late to the scene.
I only got it a week and a half ago and playing mostly solo fine. Done a couple of nights in trios but been happy just grinding loot / upgrades etc on solo. For people to get into this, is it needed to have at least one/two people you know who already play it? Feel like I'd be late to the scene.

Managed to come 3rd last week with 120k, am now in Hot Shot so I think the following weeks will be a challenge to not get relegated.
Been running all trails as a duo so far. If I can maintain hotshot for the next couple of weeks, ill be happy.
for the rewards such as the skins etc is it your position at the end of the season or so you unlock them each week as you go? I would not mind getting the suit that drops at .... daredevil1 I think
its definitely better as co-op.For people to get into this, is it needed to have at least one/two people you know who already play it? Feel like I'd be late to the scene.
I'm a committed solo player and don't think you will feel left behind whether you prefer co-op or solo. I did the expedition last time (you lose pretty much everything, skills, stash, credits etc), and I'll be doing the next one too and did no feel at much of a disadvantage. For people to get into this, is it needed to have at least one/two people you know who already play it? Generally pretty chill as we play PVE 99% of the time. You still have to watch your back as there will still be rats sneaking around, knowing you have come in with a decent loadout to complete the trails. Are you getting attacked much in duos these days or or they chill like solo once you get in to the good place?
Thought Id offer an opposing view to everyone else. For people to get into this, is it needed to have at least one/two people you know who already play it? Feel like I'd be late to the scene.
. I do have a few better weapons in the stash that I’ve found but I stupidly don’t take them out in case I lose them, so leave them behind and not use them anyway. Yes dumb, I know. Do some missions and get your levels up, you'll unlock the renegade in tian wen's shop which is great. The trigger nades are great for killing bastions too just throw a bunch on top of it them trigger them at once. Just work out a loadout where you can buy, build everything, then you only really lose cashThought Id offer an opposing view to everyone else.
I’m level 27, played 99% solo. I started playing with a full team but it just ended up in shootouts. That was back before they changed the lobby & matching system though.
I posted this on this thread last week. I’m at a point where I seem to be stuck in a loop. I go out and easily hold my own against the smaller arc just using upgraded ferro and stitcher weapons.
To progress I need to upgrade the rest of my benches to L3, to do this I need rocketeer and bastion parts. I am currently unequipped to take down these enemies. Even if I had the blueprints and mats to craft the weapons - which I don’t. I do have a few better weapons in the stash that I’ve found but I stupidly don’t take them out in case I lose them, so leave them behind and not use them anyway. Yes dumb, I know.
So I feel I need a couple of hours with a shepherd to help me over this hurdle.
I absolutely love the game, there hasn’t been a game grabbed me like this since The Division. I am now concentrating on the quests but they are slow going but I do feel I am getting somewhere. Knocked a few over last night but now have to bring back specific items from Stella which is going to be a long grind.
