Arc Raiders

Does the number of skill points spent on in round crafting and travelling tinkerer actually make a difference as to what you can craft? Or Do you just need 1 point t unlock everything? Can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere
It does, I can't remember all, but Hatch key and Herbal bandages are I'm sure only available with tinkerer, as I went to craft a Hatch key shortly after this last expedition and it was not available - it is now that I specced Tinkerer.

It depends on the skill you spend points on, for example 'Youthful Lungs' maxed out 5/5 gives you 25% max stamina, so each point you spend gives you 5% increase.

'Crawl before you walk' maxed out at 5/5 gives you 50% increase in downed movement speed, again each point spent is 10% increase.

All the skills have different percentages. There's a few YouTubers that have painstakingly gone into the practice area to test each of them out and used a timer to see difference in some of the skills. It's worth checking out if you want to get the best out of the skill tree, depending on how you want to play the game of course.

I'm wondering if the value of your loudout has an impact on the lobbies you go into. I've finally started to have the confidence to fully kit out my gear, add attatchments, and fully level up and on my last game I had two people try and rat me with no warning. Luckily I managed to act fast and nail them with the high rate of fire on a fully tricked out tempest, but but felt super weird killing people! I checked my player stats and while reaching 75 levels apparently I only downed 3 people before that.

If you are killing people you are going to get put in PvP lobbies.

Simple.

I still can't figure it out, there seems to be lots of variables but one thing is for sure - kill other raiders and you're going into sweaty lobbies for sure, will take a bit more than 1 kill though from experience...
When I say sweaty lobbies it's just that, trust nobody and check all angles, they will be waiting for you lol, extract? Yep they gonna be there waiting unless you get lucky.
It makes the game better in my opinion as if you have played a while it's far too easy to fill your stash with good loot and the arc are not a threat so boredom/ full stash soon happens and the tension of getting ambushed makes the game fresh again and the extract more rewarding

That's the thing though, it looks like I had shot only 3 people in all 75 levels and I can't remember the last time I shot a person until the recent rat.

I just played a few rounds of Stella and there was more rats, so annoying, I never looked over my shoulder or was caution before, now I'm so paranoid because I have a small amount of expensive kit (if I keep dying it wont last long)

I recon the level is definitely a weighting (I don't feel like a level 75 player, I just ground a lot), but I recon there's also factors such as the quality of guns you bring into the match, and potentially the value of your initial loadout (mine was over $50k last time)

I used up a Stella medical room key, but brough a door barrier to keep people out just long enough to loot and within 5 seconds I could hear someone breaching it, I asked them nicely in proximity chat to chill for a minute, but I'm not sure if they were a nice player or forced to leave because of the Shredder and all the other craziness going on on the other side of the door.

Found a few more duplicate blueprints, finding it very difficult to get new ones though.

I feel like I've progressed as a player a lot more recently though, as I start experimenting with new kit. Just hard swapping it all round in the menu between my prison pockets and quick use limit.

Been watching a lot of TheBurntPeanut too on youtube, which I have actually found helpful, in addition to be a very fun watch. It's great to see the tactics of good players and see how they handle things.

My latest duplicate blue print stash if anyone wants them. Just DM me with your Arc Raiders user name.

Angled Grip II
Medium Gun Parts
Seeker Grenade
Silencer II
Trailblazer

Free to a good home, would also appreciate any of the more tough ones to get if anyone has some spare.

You can add a Bobcat blueprint to that list, another dupe!:(

Found in a raider hatch like think in a meadow about 100m away from the Wharehouse Airshaft Escape between it and the Abondoned housing project. You can hear it make a sound when you get close.

It was hurricane conditions too. Aerial arcs and a long distance turrett from a tower north of the area nearly toasted me, but luckily my rolling and running stamina points were perked up and I had stims.

I really enjoyed playing this at launch and for a while after.

I got sick of spawning and sprinting to a certain area only to find it already looted. Especially that part on the space shuttle map where you could get a few mushrooms from that one spot. I lost Interest after a while and haven’t touched it since.
