ArcheAge, Ultima Online's rebirth?

They gave us 4 servers, that is absolutely mental. I tried playing but there was way too many people around. Getting a farm will be completely futile. Joke.

I actually pre-ordered this and haven't had time to play it.

I'm assuming I am going to have real issues placing my farm now?

Also, the edition I bought came with 90 days Patron status. Will this be active now even though I haven't even logged in?

Day 1 of headstart it took me nearly 3 hours to even get into the game, by which point all of the temperate housing had gone. Only Arid left on Dahuta :( bad times. I know of several people that have rushed to place several houses simply so they can sell the land plots later on and make a fortune.

Give it a few weeks and a load will disappear, our area in Rookborne is jam packed but i reckon it'll free up a bit then.

Yep, I reckon when people will drop out the spaces will pop up also when the north is opened people will relocate there and won't be all that keen on keeping too many plots open so they too will let stuff go.

Anyway I am absolutely loving this game. Having great fun the most I have in an MMO for years. The game world itself is really good and varied and I love the freedom you get in this game.

Yeah i am loving the game world too, but tempted to reroll if they open a new server, is there any word on that yet?

I want to try out archery but am already level 23 with sorc, if i change now does it gimp my damage against mobs?

I've not had this feeling about a game in a long long time, absolutely loving it and in a decent guild so it makes the game more fun as i'm not limited in what i'm doing.

I'm playing as a Primeval atm but will be also doing the skillset for a Blighter once i am higher as that is what i played in beta.

whats the general consensus on this guys? I have missed the open Beta, signed up but down want to invest in another flat mmo like GW2 turned into. Need a really decent MMO to get stuck into to take me up to the launch of Black Desert.

From the little i have played (lvl 23) aside from the land availability issues the game is awesome. Great areas, smooth movement/combat much like wow but with combos. So much to do what with farming/trading/building/pvp/pve its pretty amazing. I tried to get back into wow a few days back before i bought this, resubbed it and really just didnt fancy playing it again (played it on and off since launch) and this game has gripped me. Every other mmo i have tried has just seemed rubbish compared to wow, but this i can see myself playing long term.

so can you explain the pricing scheme to me please, this has me a little confused. The open Beta is now closed which I know, I've read the game is f2p so does this mean tomorrow I can install the game and play totally for free? Or do I reach a certain point, lets say lvl10 for argument sake and then need to buy a certain pack? I see you can buy founder packs, is that the way to go? or can I essentially do everything in the game for free but the drawbacks on this are what?

You can login tomorrow and play for free and never have to spend a penny. Getting on tomorrow though will be a different problem, especially with the already big queues.

I decided to try rerolling to east seeing as i didnt get land i have no real ties to my first character. Thought i would change server to join that silent storm guild but the queue on kyprosa is massive, i dont have one on dahuta. I though dahuta would have been more popular as isnt that the 'unofficial' best pvp server eu? :/

You will need to install Trion's game client 'Glyph' which then gives you access to Archeage - The client might not be available to download for F2P yet -
