Are scars cool?

If the point of glass that embedded itself in my skull had been an inch lower at any point on my face it'd have blinded me in one eye, at best. Killed me at worst.

Great story, wouldn't like to have that feeling though. It's not nice thinking "I could've just died".

I once got in a fight with my horse and lost. She bit me, picked me up and throw me quit a long distance, she got me right down to the bone. Got another one on my back, boring story behind that one but it looks like a bullet wound.

That's nearly as good as Tru punching a cow in the face, nearly...

As for me I don't really have that many:

Small one on my eyebrow from headbutting a concrete flower pot (not on purpuse)

One on my finger - cut down to the bone with a knife

Few tiny ones on arms and face (barely noticeable) from coming off my skateboard when I was younger

Small ones with good stories behind them I suppose can be cool, but large obvious ones that get stared at when people meet you probably aren't.
I only have small ones thankfully. :)

A few across my knuckles, one mostly hidden by an eyebrow where some knob on a rugby pitch tapdanced on my face and one on my scalp that hairdressers always ask me about.

lol I have a scar on my head from one of those...

I also have a scar on my head from a rounders bat.

Had a humdinger of a doozy on the back of my hand a year ago, its just about gone now though.

Basically i have asbestos hands and poor circulation, and can pick up fairly hot items when other people cant. Unfortunately i was quickly grabbing my pizza out of the bottom shelf of the oven and brought my hand up into the railings above which were about 190 centigrade. Didnt take my hand off immediately, instead pushing my hand further into the hot bar until the nerves thought damn this is hot and my hand jumped away. It was really annoying because when you put your hand in your pockets it was exactly where the lining of the jeans would sit.. so the scab would rub off if i ever wanted to access my pockets etc..

I have a small one on my shin from a motorbike crash, about 3 years ago I had to have a biopsy done on my leg, the nurse took the sanple from my other shin so I now have matching ones on each leg  :D

I got a few - all pretty crap.

got a nice one on my each of my index fingers.

basicly. cheap generic pc case..

tryed to use a screw driver to snap out the metal plates on the 5 1/4 bays.

slipped cut my finger. washed it up yeah

went back with the other hand did the same except that time i cut an artuary and bled all over my living room. it was scary but kool lol.

so yeah dont buy cheap generic cases! lol.

got a big one on my chin but its actualy quite hard to see. slipped in the bath and scared from the SMOOTH rounded inner corner or the bath? very odd.

Usual collection of scars.

Several across the knuckles of my left hand from when I stumbled and accidently put my hand through a window.

3" scar on my right forearm from an innocent accident involving a ruler and a craft knife when I was at school.

2" chunk out of my right knee when I fell on ice and collided with a broken bottle.

4" scar on my right shin and a 3" scar across my right shoulder from when an idiot motorist ran into the back of my bike at 45 mph.

3" scar in the centre of my forehead which involved me leaving a room, my cousin entering and the corner of the door.

Inch long scar across my top lip which was the result of an out of control branchline at work (not my fault but I suffered the consequences).

Skull is also covered in small scars due to having split my head six times. All the result of a childhood where there was no tree or scaffold I couldn't or wouldn't climb.
