Temps on the cpu with 4.8 all cores at 1.28 vcore max out around 75c which isn’t great. I had it at 5ghz but temps were too high will delid the cpu when I drain the loop for primochill vue to be put in should easily get the clock up.
Are the z270 mono blocks compatible with the z370s

Will save you at least 15c max temp I would wager... my Apex board should be turning up tomorrow so will stick mine together and delid later also.

Bought the Z270 block for my Asus Strix Z370-F motherboard. Will report my findings tomorrow when they both arrive.

So the Apex Z270 block I can confirm:
1. Is not exact fit
2. Does work fine...
Basically all the important stuff lines up fine but seems that one of the 'non essential' screws the hole has been moved a few mm on the motherboard so doesnt line up. Its only one of the really tiny screws in the top right (1 of 3) the two left are fine and the 4 important ones in the CPU area are fine... Its working fine, temps as expected really, max about 65-67c even with it at 5.3ghz since a good old stanley blade delid.
