Are we the New Man utd?

It seems even the dons hate us as my congratz for winning the league was deleted.
Think that is a bit off to be honest as it's quite an achievement to retain it whether you support them or Odviously don't.

What a great thread , cheers for the bump. :)
Ive just read through it again.
More of this please fellow posters and less of the "Who has the worst haircuts in the prem" or "ALAN SHERAER new HARTLEPOOL UTD manager" type topics.

Picked this up on a readthrough though -

Just watching tv then and they going on how NO SWEARING, Big Kev chelsea are and boring and just should go back to the way they were to be liked? i was like WT* u want us to start coming 2nd and 3rd every year again to get liked again!

This is just me thinking out loud really hehe

you hope not as you will win No swearing! all chap

I don't hate Chelsea, I just think your buying the title, which lets be honest is like cheating in Championship Manager.

The problem Chelsea are and will continue having is gettin the REAL top class players to join.

Stevie G? Ronladhino? etc

The only players that will look at moving away from the likes of Barce/Milan/Juve/Real Madrid are the ones who are a year passed their best but with a couple of season of top class football left in them.

Some might now belive the meaning behind him choosing to wear the Portugal scarf at the end of the match. He also threw not one but two medal into the crowd.

I belive he will be there for another year to try and get the CL under his belt with them, and then if not the likes of the Portugal job for the 2010 world cup, he will choose to manage a team that he can take to glory the good old route , without 'cheating' with a massive bank account, the only way he will leave his mark on history as a proper manager now, after choosing Chelsea.

In fact I wouldn't mind putting money now on him taking the hot seat from SAF at United. He never slags us off, and the fact he would get to work with the likes of Rooney, Ronaldo etc which he could take under his wing. And then the fact he gets too manage one of the only two clubs in England with a decent history and character ( other being Liverpool ).

Slighty off topic, but I do belive in sport like this that there should be some rules applying to the likes of Roman and his billions, it taints the game somewhat, and changes the meaning of winning leagues and cups.

Can anyone honestly say if they did the treble like we did with 'kids' back in '99 that it would be on the same grade of achivment? Even the way we won the league all thoose years ago?

Chelsea? Cheating themslevs out of so much.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Blackburn we all know what it feels to win a real league. You wont.

Couldn't care less if no-one likes us, I don't particularly like any other teams domestically (bar Brentford) that's what being a supporter is all about.
We're the best team in England, stick that in your pipe & smoke it you envious rat bags:)
As long as people don't just make up reasons for their gripes, so what...

Name one instance of a player doing that:)
Didier drogba during an interview said that he chelsea are the best and everyone should know it, this was at the same time he admitted that he dived.

You must remember that it really is an English thing (but not solely) - people resent teams other than theirs winning all the time, it's quite natural - look at the resentment in F1 against Ferrari.

I know you can say that people hated Man U before they started winning everything - but a lot of that was to do with the fact that they were still incredibly well supported - another form of jealousy in a way.
