I am very cheap, in fact I even scare myself with how cheap I am,

Actually I am not cheap, its more value for money.

Whenever I go on a flight, I take a bag full of goodies so I dont have to spend any money on the way there/on the flight.

I have a copy of Tesco store guides in every one of our cars so I dont have to spend any money at motorway stations

I do a similar thing but with travel inns and trains so I don't have to pay inflated prices.

But I just figured that was sensible rather than 'cheap' :/

I used to get my groceries at the Safeway store in Lerwick.

My ex met me in there one day and asked if I was pushing a Celtic Trolley.
I was puzzled until I looked down and realised that almost the entire contents of the trolley were the green and white Safeway Savers brand :o

Stan :)

I deleted and abbreviated into the dreaded "txt ***" a SMS a couple of weeks back for ten or so minutes because it would have sent as 2 messages. The even sadder part is that I have 300 free messages :(

When I was a kid, my Mum refused to pay for Popcorn, and so we used to take sweets and chocolate into the cinema! Now THAT is cheap!!!

My mum used to do that too.

I'm the opposite of cheap myself. Wasteful, and spend too much money :p

Thats another good one, we do that and sit there happy with the fact that the cinemas' marketing tactics didnt work. (how twisted do I sound?)

Sensible! I spend about €1 on making myself a nice baguette, I'm not paying £3.50 on board! (£1.50 for a cup of tea!

I avoid taking a taxi whenever possible. Half an hour walk away? I'll walk it, not shelling out a fiver or so for a taxi. If I'm sober enough to stand, I'm sober enough to walk home.

True, I will walk anything to avoid having to pay...
