We've had so many discussions about BMI and so on.
You could be bang on with your BMI score, but you visceral fat is more important than subdermal fat anyway, and that is something that the BMI will not tell you. Yes yes... it is only a guideline - but to be fair, if you look fat in the mirror, then you don't need a BMI to tell you that. Visceral fat is more dangerous than subdermal fat anyway, so it's all pretty pointless.
Lifestyle is everything - lifestyle includes, diet, exercise, sleep, everything else - it's an all encompassing metric. If you have a poor lifestyle then you're not necessarily going to have a poor BMI, but you could still be unhealthy.
For the sake of this thread, I'm very much overweight according to the BMI score. But my bodyfat is around 13% - so I am reasonably lean. However as most people know I carry a fair bit of muscle and am relatively fastidious with my diet. BMI=28
