Are you kidding me?

It seems like the vast majority of problems at OcUK are warehouse-based mistakes that should be easily avoided. It's great having an excellent CS team, which they do, but someone really needs to examine the roster of warehouse chaps who are sending out the wrong products and costing their customers time, and costing themselves business, discounts and refunds.

+1 to this. Sounds like a warehouse staff issue to me, no offence they are probably great people. But potentially you have a few (or one?) new pickers who are causing you problems.

Again great Customer Service demonstrated, but it wouldn't even be needed if the root cause was eliminated in the first place to avoid these (several) instances.

From my experience...(We deal with a supplier who deal in refurb stock) barely checked. I'd expect just the box condition at best.

I can also vouch for this - I buy stock from different places (different niche to OCUK) and some of them send me "New" stock that has clearly been used, and also send me "used" stock on the cheap that is still sealed in its original packaging with all the seals intact. They simply move so much product that they don't check it properly.

BB you live in Liverpool right? Why can't you just drive down to OCUK and pick up a monitor and test it at their trade counter? Surely they will pay the fuel it is only 50 odd miles each way? £10 in a 2.0 diesel.

much too long but did read it all.

I certainly would have expected a form of compensation to go your way considering the bewildering slew of returns you have encountered attempting to buy a working hazro monitor

Also considering you persisted from the first faulty screen till the refund to stay loyal to ocuk surely your commitment although in vain should be worth something more than your money back.

I do wonder if OcUK will look into the whole matter in depth to find out who really is at fault for such a poor batch of monitors. What if I buy one of these Hazro monitors now? Am I in for a trifecta refund? :)

OCUK offered me the SAME monitor at LAN. Not sure this constitutes a form of compensation. I doubt it's even effort for them, as they'll be there anyway. They have been mute on the issue of compensation and also refunding my £40 spent to return the initial items. I am pushing for the latter.

Overall I won't be shopping at OCUK again any time soon... and neither are my friends nor the people who TRUST messaged me about their shocking experiences.

To be fair, after sales support is excellent but I'd rather not have to use it. I want what I ordered the first time around. Sound fair?

Either:
1. The warehouse staff need some training as the monitor I was sent originally - which has the previous guy's RMA slip inside - was wrapped in a box that had been slept in by a homeless person. Oh yeah, and no stand. Or cables. Just a screen.
2. OCUK actually send RMAs out as policy and hope people just accept it. I can imagine this given the fanboys on here

I am absolutely fuming here at paying £2.5k for a rig with OCUK and having the experience spoilt. I have spent around £15k easily in the past 10 years.

So, now stuck with a refund that won't clear until after i51 and no monitor for LAN. My friend luckily is lending me a 144Hz BENQ but I hate TN panels, which is why I wanted 2560x IPS

For all those who have a great time with OCUK, I hope it continues for you.

But certainly lost a customer in me today and will be getting flamed on every review site possible. Maybe they'll get 2 out of 5 stars because of Bailey

BaDBoy_uK. Email me in Trust please.

With your phone number (and original order number for the monitor). I will go into work tomorrow morning and I will ring you to make sure all is resolved. Thanks. :)

OCUK have certainly improved on the customer service side of things. I remember the days when threads like this would have been gone in under 10minutes :p

I am making a mental note to never touch a Hazro.

I went in to the shop once and ordered an i5 and was given an i7, then i went in for a h60 cooler and it came out in a bag, no fitting equipment or instructions...

Warehouses can get busy, mistakes can happen and having run them for 8 years it can be a struggle getting it spot on, but worth it when you do :) And I am willing to get back in to warehouse management if needed ;) lol

5UB is on the case, let him deal with it. Every company makes mistakes, its how they rectify them that matters :D

And the fact that 5UB is going in on his holiday to sort this is rather excellent service if I may say so, no other IT etailer I know would do this for their customers!

Sorry to hear of the bad experiences BB, and I hope the 5UB'meister restores your faith in OCUK :)

Some people are just ungrateful for the amount of effort put in to trying to make them happy and there seems to be no helping these people.

Tbh, the excessant shouting isn't necessary and I actually find it quite rude. I understand you're annoyed; I would be in the same situation too but **** happens. Suck it up and work with the guys to get it sorted rather than throwing your toys out all over the place.

There's a great community here in OCUK, as demonstrated by the amount of help offered from the members and also the staff themselves, but I'd wish some members would relax a little instead of getting their blood pressure up.

And about the OP going to another etailer ... doesn't bother me. I'm just going to say good luck never buying from OCUK again! :)

Not anymore, he's in London now!

that's the stupidest post i've read in a very long time. you've every right to be angry but that thinking is delusional. :/

I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't make"delusional" comments without having some form of proof. Sounds stupid I agree, but every possibility its the truth.

BaDBoy_uK I have tried ringing you this morning (you probably have 4848585 missed calls :p). I have sent you a text too from my personal phone. Call me ASAP. :)

BaDBoy_uK

If 5UB cant sort this out over email for you in time [we leave for Lan in about 30 mins], please come and speak to either him or myself at LAN.

we will be on the OcUK stand, just ask for Steve or Rich.

We will get this resolved for you.
