So im sure you all know about Area51 and the massive secrecy surrounding it and its contents.

what are your thoughts on this mysterious base ?
Does it hold Extraterestrial crafts and beings ? did Bob Lazar really work there ?

Just a black project test site in my opinion, the alien conspiracies are probably loved by the military over there for drawing attention away from real speculation.

Id like to hope it doesnt hold any UFO stuff to be honest. And you would think for something so important they would make a better attempt at hiding the base?

I would also like to say something really clever and knowledgeable, but I really no jack all about this. I've heard all the rumours but who do you really choose to belive.
 
I actually got told by a former CIA officer, and it's not quite as exciting as you'd think. And actually moderately amusing.
 
Black project test facility, the lockheed martin aviation company are reputed to use it as a research/test facility, theese are the guys responsible for highly classified recon aircraft such as the u2 and sr71 blackbird.

Well it was, it hasn't been secret enough for a long time for that sort of stuff.
 
It's all a 'Black Ops' red herring, to concentrate speculation and rumour all to one place, while all the real Top-Secret stuff gets carried on right under the general populations noses, where you least expect it. Smoke and Mirrors at a grand scale. ;)

True, i remember reading an article a few years ago about the f117a, testing of this aircraft was carried out at Tonopah test range, (aka Area 52) 70 miles NW of groom lake.
 
Living in an military city, my spies tell me that all the stories are cobblers! The general consensus though is that not much goes on there now as most of the research has been moved to other bases because of all the 'tourists' that go there....and believe me, there's a LOT.

Most likely. But at the same time, they have a handy secure facility in the middle of nowhere away from everything but satellites. Probably useful for a lot of things other than super-secret 'black' projects...
