Area51

I don't want to go into too many details (it's one I like to bust out over a pint) but the jist was that it was a major test site for UAVs that could perform maneuvers that no manned aircraft ever could.

Living in an military city, my spies tell me that all the stories are cobblers! The general consensus though is that not much goes on there now as most of the research has been moved to other bases because of all the 'tourists' that go there....and believe me, there's a LOT.

^^^

this tbh...

You're more likely to spot the latest experimental super high speed/stealth/whatever aircraft off the west coast of Scotland than the desert outside this place...

If there WAS (past tense) anything alien there, then you can bet they won't be there now.

They probably did use it a lot in the past with different air craft shapes, UAVs, rockets, reverse engineering Russian tech or what ever back in the 60s. But now as said it is probably just stealth and radar technology.

Planes, UAV, rockets and other such research will be done else where now and not in the most popular tourist destination in the Nevada desert, other than Vegas. :D

I thought it was generally thought that Lazar is off his cake these days?

Why is it that whenever there are apparent sightings of alien life-form in the air, that they come at night when it's difficult to see them?

Id like to hope it doesnt hold any UFO stuff to be honest. And you would think for something so important they would make a better attempt at hiding the base?

I would also like to say something really clever and knowledgeable, but I really no jack all about this. I've heard all the rumours but who do you really choose to belive.
Well it is in the middle of no where and they denied it untill it was proven and everyone could see it by satellites :P
Watched a documentary on it a few months ago. Its got busier and bigger so ;)
Prob just test random things around there

It's just black ops and next gen aircraft. Just look at all the triangle UFO sightings. Just turned out to be the stealth.

In all fairness though a lot of the assumed triangle sitings don't look anything like the stealth. The last time I had the chance to see the stealth I remember saying and wondering to myself how it was that it could ever have been thought of as "alien"? That was the bigger mystery? I ought to clarify that it is highly conceivable that the new triangular sitings are military projects.

I went there when I was in Vegas.

I for one can vouch that they ain't messing about with security.

When you approach, you can see cameras and microphones.

Then you get to the entrance, and see the "Cammo dudes" ET&G security guys sitting there all day long waiting for someone to appear. When we did, he got his binos out and watched us.

Normally there are 2 of them, but on that day he was alone. We were in a party of 6, and spit up. Because he could not watch us all at the same time, he called re-inforcements!

When I say that I mean a Pavehawk helicopter. It was there in minutes (they are at the base, you can see them using Google Earth). It circled over our heads a few times!

When we left we could see a dirt trail behind us. It was about 2/4 of a mile behind on the exit road from Groom lake. We know it came from the base as it had Govenrment plates.

The funniest thig was the tour guide who jumped in the back of the jeep and hid under a blanket when the choppa came over.

Awesome day indeed! Honestly the best tour in Vegas baby!

Also we stayed at NY NY, this was deliberate (on my part) and we overlooked the ET&G terminal, where they operate the "Janet" flights, to A51.

Here is the video of that day.

AMAZING !!!, so lucky
one day i will go there too

Lolz, we were looking over our shoulders at the airport, when we left. Either we lucked out that day and got a show, or it was right place at the right time, as they were gonna test something.

The trip is not that expensive, and make sure you say in NYNY and get a room at the front high up. Take binos and watch all the workers come and go that fly direct to A51.

Will be there again soon :-)

If I don't post back, they have found me - I DON'T KNOW HOW - RUN MARTY RUN!!!!!!
