argos sell crap products.
the catalogue is a strange piece of history I agree, but these days id rather a million trees weren’t cut down for the sake of that low income consumer bible.

babble, swear, insult, rage dribble
, also don’t buy the towel from argos.. just send me the magazine and i can wipe my arse with it.When I was still in the UK, I stopped going to the high street unless I absoutely needed to. Amazon is much better IMO. The catalog is much bigger and the delivery options far exceed what Argos provides, especially with Prime.

I was laughing the other day to see my kids doing the same lolI'll be gutted to see it go tbh
It's a childhood memory I recall clearly - me and me siblings sitting there going through page by page - That ones mine! no that ones mine!. Eventually after bugging the parents enough we got about a 1/100,000 of what we wanted
It was the one item in the house you could always turn to for ideas and if you ask me is what made Argos what it is today.
Yes I do reserve items online now, then go collect - but the first point of call for us is the catalogue sitting with torn toy pages in the corner of the room.

It's strange how we all wanted 'high end' digital Casio's
I set my sights lower - I wanted the World Time Casio (about 1988) which was around £14. I have no idea why I needed the world time function at the age of 9
Number 9 - oh yeah !!

Up until a few days ago I hadn't used the catalogue for years and just searched the website.
However after getting one I forgot how nice it was to browse through. The website is great when you know what you want but it doesn't let you browse the way the catalogue offers. I think Argos could lose quite a few sales by ditching it.
