Ark: Survival Evolved - Dinosaur MMO/Survival PVP funz!

if youve not already, add -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 to your Ark Launch Options. Made my frames bit smoother, cant see to much difference in visuals either. Hitting 60 and up now, not bad for a solitary 7950. God I wish they'd sort out crossfire though.
 
Make sure that the frame latency etc. options in afterburner are enabled to "show in on screen display" and then beside the "monitoring" tab, click "on screen display" and set it all up to your liking and lastly make sure you have these settings in riva tuner:

Hmm we'll see how long that takes. Windows 10 isn't due until next month is it?

To be fair the last patch just gave me huge improvements to fps so I've upped my settings to high still getting 60fps on a 7970.
 
I've been holding off on this title due to hearing about poor performance for many people, How is AMD performance currently?

I'd be interested in the 290x, In particular the 1920 x 1080 and 2560 x 1440 (vsr) results with everything maxed including AA and whatever there is on top, switch distances? etc.
 
Think of you maxed everything you'd grind any card to a halt currently.

I'm on a 7970 at everything's at medium at 50fps at 1440p. You could probably push highs.

The performance has increased massively since I joined 2 weeks ago I could barely get lows all around lol.
 
I have a fx [email protected] and a gtx970 g1@1559 and get avg about 45-50 fps with all medium settings and all the advanced stuff turned off, i dont know if i could get more with a intel cpu or not.

All 8 cores are being used but core 1 stays around 60-70percent while the rest stay around 30-40 :( this is at 1440p btw :)
 
Balls I just took over a underwater base with another tribe proceeded to collect 100 oil and 130 pearls only to be eaten by a megladon on the way back :(.

also, what resources do we need mostly atm? metal?
 
A metric ****ton of metal and chitin please :).

Almost finished second room but the dino gates really need to be upgraded.

It's funny because the guy below you did the exact same except we all advised him too leave his expensive gear behind :D (sorry buddy couldn't resist :P)

He did set a new personal best, he was only on that animal for about 2-3 minutes before it died lol.
 
Lol I only had hide armor and a spear. The only expensive bit was gps.

I'm sure the dinos are all much higher ranks since the latest patch. Lvl 89 mega and there's me in hide armor no wonder I lost. But I got his lvl 20 buddy :D.

Dev lost all his gear, flak armour, fabricated pistol, rifle and all the ammo that went with these weapons.
We've had a secret meeting and we've decided he has to dress up as a phiomia in real life including when he goes to work.

Did those hackers come back?

Didn't see them last night or this morning. We took over their underwater base so well soon see if they're still about :D.

I'm gonna guess they come back, especially if you've taken their base and I'm guessing they won't stop as hackers normally have this ego thing that nobody can beat them and they have to destroy everyone else. Plebs.
 
Smurfnation wheir moaning last light that prospectors where raiding them every night because smurfs kept killing everyones dino's and just giving people trouble.

Apparently they are being civil with people now... i think LIES!!!
