There did used to be an OCuk coop server (ran by Lee)
But after a while it dissapeared .. never to return

there is a havok server on now were many of us went to
it's not the posties fault they're only allowed rowing boats heh
My posty wouldnt be any quicker if he had a zimmer... Still not here
I used to pre-order some stuff from Play b4 and it arrived the day before.. Gits..

Just purchased via steam - took all night to download both game and expansion. I've patched to 1.7 this morning, but I am met with dreadful corrupted sound in Arma II main game. OA is 1.52 or something like that. Is this correct? Not sure what the problem is with the sound.

just wondering before my Arma2 & OA arrives (come on postie row that boat faster!), would it be better to have a seperate install of Arma2 maybe patched to v1.05 with ACE + other addons then have OA in a seperate stand alone install? or just put them together?
I have the same problem also... Have you found a solution to it?
Another question...what mods should I get for OA? I am looking for a sound replacement mod (sounds is kinda bad...the music is terrible). Does ACE2 work on OA?

Nope! Frustrating. I have reinstalled DX and I have updated my Creative drivers (both were recommended via the support forums). OA is working fine, but Arma II is terribly bad. In fact it's so bad I can't play it
I've no idea what the problem is, but it would suggest others are experiencing it too. I feel like I've just wasted £30 though 
There seems to be something wrong with your install, and although I have the hardcopy version, it should be very similar.
When I install OA over Arma II, it gets integrated into the original and works as a single package which is run from the 'ArmA 2 Combined Operations' icon, that you should now have on your desktop.
It calls the 'arma2OA.exe'.

Yep, and its supposed to bring the same performance improvements as v1.07 did for Arma2 Vanilla, so by all accounts, defiantly worth grabbing if your into the single player. (and it is newer than the latest official AO patch)
Not sure how many will adopt the patch for online play until a final new patch release though.
That question is a bit like, "how long is the string?" and I don't mean that as an insult. Have you played the previous games, do you enjoy military sims, is singleplayer more important to you?
