Arma 3 Epoch Thread

First run around cherno on MGT server, found someones stuff in an unfinished house, took it and sold for about 2000 krypto.

Now worried about losing it all when I die, can I bank it somehow?
 
I was playing CCG Wasteland early yesterday morning because all the others were relatively empty and there was a blatant cheater to the point the whole server was crying in Global about it.. Went to their teamspeak and told an admin and got a response of "upload a video of it or I won't do anything".

They have to many servers and very little admins to run them all. I play on other servers now.
 
Witcher, what server are you playing on? I was on cpc for an hour or so and have no idea what I was doing on epoch, never played it before. Fancy letting me tag along some time?

I've deposited money four or five times successfully on MGT Chernarus, maybe you have too much haste about you.

Regards the new Chernarus map, I do feel we're going backwards graphics wise, but it's nice to be on familiar soil. Can't wait for the retouched Panthera to be hosted on MGT, as that island is effectively my home.
 
Anti glitching has been broken in public release server build 0.2.5.2 so we've had to script our own fix back in.

Little update to ours, we have indestructible cinder parts and lockboxes (Devs got something wrong there too, when open they're indestructible "_proxy" model and when locked they're vulnerable)

Reported it all to the dev that we deal with now

Pretty much hate these mods for Arma now but one thing that I don't get is that from looking at the bikeys that your popular servers are running, why don't any support SoS, Blastcore etc?

I've been trying to do it in the bigger cities, realised yesterday that most small towns also have a payphone. I am a relative noob to this mod. :)

Keep finding so many stashes on the MGT server, people really need to learn to hide their tents better.
 
I personally keep going back to CCG servers as they have a much better loot spawning sytem then the rubbish vanilla Epoch one. They use the old A2 loot system system it seems on CCG which is so much better. They run two A3 Epoch overpoch servers atm.

Will jump on at some point Mantaray, I've been using The Colony server to play but the map is getting slightly boring now, so if its got Chernarus it will be a nice change :)

Will try the MGT servers as well, guessing their pretty much shoot on site? I find the Colony one's seem to have too fewer people on that makes it boring.

Well you could set ccg to look at a different location then it will download the version it uses so you can play both. Depends if you can be bothered or not, personally I think it is worth it just because of the better loot system. CCG have there own launcher you see so it will download what is needed. It stands for custom combat gaming or something, easy to find the website.

What's the difference? Genuine Q as I don't know.

It's literally taking me no more than 15/20 minutes to be essentially fully kitted on MGT, curious how CCG is better? Epoch is already easy mode when it comes to loot, that's why I prefer Breaking Point, you have to work for and work hard to keep what you find.

Try it and see, some people will prefer the new system but I dont. For some reason vanilla Epoch on cherno does seem to spawn more loot then Altis. Also CCG have overpoch as well which basically is more weapons. No harm in trying it to see which you prefer. It kind of does make it more like BP survival wise tbh so I think you will love it.

So is it less loot/more loot? Is it not just searching chairs, freezers and post boxes for goodies?

Can't play until I get home later and i'm curious how different it actually is to MGT cherno?

FTR, i'll only play cherno on epoch as I despise Altis as a map.
